I do only play at weekends, as I am too busy during the week :)

I had to change the server software to support much better stuff like quests (no quest yet set up), bank accounts, protected areas.

Because of that, you need a new account on the server. Please try to use the /register command, if that does not help, please PM me your character name, and I will set up an account for you.

I mostly play late night US (around 1am West coast). Recently though, it won't let me play the game properly. Every time I try to do anything, it says "World protected from changes." I made a new character, registered, logged in, and it still gives me this error. Google has yielded no solutions.

Speaking of the server, did you set my rights to make changes to the game world? Last time I checked I was still unable to do anything.

Heh, I remember entering Terraria for the first time and thinking, "WTF, this isn't a game. Sh*t." It's really good, though. :)

Watch the first few episodes. Or more, if you like. They're actually playing an older version here, but it's much more helpful for beginners than their 1.1 videos.
