Long time PC gamer here. Been burned a few times with DRM and it makes me mad. This site looks like a breath of fresh air.
I'm a collector of sorts and I hardly ever throw a PC game away. And I hate to put a CD in a drive to play, and I don't like to force it to with code that may be filled with viruses.
So far this site is like a dream come true. I'm finding it hard to decide what to get first.
We have to support these people. This is one of the best things to happen to PC gaming in a long time. First Stardock, now this. And THIS site makes Stardock look almost as bad as EA. LOL!! (Stardock has activation on thier patches)
(By the way, I never pirated a game, never will. Why kill my own hobby?)

if i didn't buy the fallout collectors pack a few months ago, i would probably be joining you in getting every game on here :)
"Stardock has activation on thier patches"

I have purchased most of the games on this site ¬¬.
I'd get them all but not all of them I like :p.
I was shocked to see Mesiah on the list though, always wanted that game.
I have to keep myself from buying too many games. I'm already short on funds and still looking for a new job. But, if i could, I definitely would purchase a majority of these titles.
It is definitely tempting to just buy them all. Similar to aggrocrag though, my budget is currently a little bit limited, as well as my time. I do plan for a few more purchases in the upcoming weeks though, as there is so much I would love to have!
I'm with you. I saw Messiah on here and I jumped on in. So far it's been great. I'm a huge pc gamer too. My old games tend to get loaned out or put up in storage or even stolen, so having them online to download without drm (I hate putting cd's in my drive to play a game, it's the reason I like pc gaming!! CD only needed for install!) is a dream. Plus the site design looks great.
I'm a youngin compared to most of the gamer here, but I really appreciate the old stuff. If I could, I would buy a lot of the games here.
And though Messiah was way before my foray into pc gaming, it looks like an intriguing game to say the least.
I really hope they can get the Monkey Island series, as that's a series that I really want to play.
Stardock patches are available at other sites where you don't have to register. That's what I do for Sins.

Exactly.
Also, does the Stardock method really annoy you that badly? In my opinion, it's a well-thought-out method of keeping the gamers honest. You can play without ever having to download a patch and there isn't any DRM. No limited installs, no check-every-10-days, nada.

When I said that they have activation on thier patches I was just looking for something to compare with. There's nothing wrong with Stardock. I've been a loyal customer of thiers for years. They have no DRM on thier game disks. They just check to see who you are when you download a patch. Not really annoyed. Just that this site goes a bit further than Stardock does which I never thought would happen.

I never had a problem with Stardock activations. I am a hardcore Sins of a Solar Empire player, and those patches are the reason I play the game. Activation on patches instead of games should be something all publishers should do. After all, if you put those pesky DRM on the game, you risk giving a bad impression. But put it on patches, you can go ruin pirates' fun afterwards.

You cannot do this for the best patch they made for Sins though. That is when they went to force to the user to download our program and use our service. They plan on this format on everything they do in the future. Stay away from SD.

Buy all the games? Are you crazy, dude? To hell with that...
There's about 5 games tops that pique my interest and I'm not even sure if I want to spend my $6 or $10 bucks. Till we start getting some good shit, I'll just troll these boards and spread my "psychotic ramblings" as someone who shall remain unnamed told me.
I think it was that homoerectus, Weclock. Probably not but I can't remember right now.
Nah, it wasn't me. But I'm with you, I've picked up a couple games on here that I won't even touch. and I really don't have an interest in going back and visiting Fallouts again...
I'm just biding my time until something I really anticipate comes along.
There are quite a few titles on here I've been interested in playing and the whole DRM free is very appealing. In fact, they have a couple of titles (the Unreal titles to be exact) I was going to buy on Steam but now will get here because I can do whatever I want with 'em. I'm tempted to re-buy the Fallout series. Then again I love those games to death and am intrigued by the extras.
