Foxhack: And now they don't even give free disc copies to owners anymore.
They don't? Not even for those who already bought Telltale games with this promise but didn't ask for their discs yet?

Nope. They won't have any in stock for a while, apparently.

I'm not happy. :( The only reason I didn't get them was their stupid shipping costs. We're both in California so why were they asking for lots of money to ship them? Ugh...

Yeah, me too, but I live overseas, so I'd have to pay about the worth of the games themselves for my "free" copies. I mean I can totally understand that they can't afford to pay shipping costs for every customer, letalone overseas customers - the thing I find so irritating about it is that they won't give their customers digital access to the contents of their discs, and that the games are DRM-free on the "free" discs only, but not in customers' Telltale account. Some of these games have even been DRM-free in bundles or on GOG for very low prices, but their own customers have to pay horrendous shipping costs in order to get access to them.

To me, Telltale has become a prime example of how to treat your customers in order to lose their loyalty. I started out liking them but they have only disappointed me in return. Often they don't even react to any complaints and valid support requests take weeks and several reminders before someone answers to them (and not always very helpfully). If they have the money to invest in DRM, why not in a functioning PR and customer service?

Btw, I found out that both of the Bone games are still available on Steam with Telltale as publisher (, [url=http://store.steampowered.com/app/8320/?snr=1_7_15__13]Cow Race), so it appears they are not completely forbidden to sell the games due to license issues after all, like many here speculated.
