I've seen better CGI in my GOG.com game collection.

Let me guess, direct-to-video?
Haha, wow. That's my kinda movie.
Yeah, the word on this one is certainly getting around lately on various blogs and sites. It's short one Samuel L. Jackson from going internet meme mad, but I do believe I will watch it.
I'm soooooo hyped now! lol
That...is a BRILLIANT title name.
haha this looks amazing
Was the Octopus done using the same technique they used to do the Book of the Dead on Evil Dead ?

According to IMDB, it is indeed a direct-to-video. Not really surprising...
When I see (trailers of) this kind of movie, it makes me really angry, because there are so much independent film projects which have real difficulties to find money, or don't find at all and have no choice than cancel the project... and there are those movies, with not enough money to make a real "pop-corn movie" but largely enough to make maybe 10 other film projetcs...
This could have been so much more awesome if the Shark was on fire and being ridden by a Pirate holding a laser gun sword. As for the adversary, Giant Octopus, I think it should also be on fire, but like COLD fire and each tentacle should be holding a Ninja holding a Bear holding a Tiger holding a Cannon.
Now that would be far more epic.

Rolls around laughing....
Just one question comes to mind: What in the world were they smoking? Must have been something mighty potent!
