Im looking for RPG's where what you mainly do is... talk.
Never played a RPG that was mainly about that, so does anybody know a RPG of that kind?
(il even play JRPG if thats what needed)
Planescape: Torment would fit that description perfectly, methinks. You can even conquer the final boss just by talking if you play your cards right....

If you mean an RPG with lots of dialog, I have no idea.

Yup, no question on that front, there's hardly any fights that are absolutely unavoidable and most situations can be resolved through dialogue

yup, and most of the time, resolving problems through dialogue gives better results than violence.

Yeah, it taught me violence isn't the answer.
Fallout. Also, for jRPGs, check out Aveyond. It may not be as talkie as Fallout or PST, but it's got a decent storyline and dialogue.

The hell its not! The violence in that game is some of the most satisfying I've seen
A number of cRPGs can be solved using a diplomatic (talk) approach with minimal combat. Fallout1&2, Arcanum, Deus Ex, Planescape Torment (the usual suspects).
There a re a few indie games, where ALL of the game is just talking between a few characters. The story branches off on how you develop/play your character. Can't remember the one I know right now, but if I do, I'll be back here. depends on what you would call a RPG...
Therefore: Tex "I am not a RPG in any real way" Murphy. Okay, so it's not a RPG, but all you mainly do is 'talk' especially in the first two games.
http://www.alteraction.com/ theres this. not exactly your usual rpg but very interesting all the same and has a ridiculous number of ways the story can unfold.
Facade is an interesting one...
You, the player, using your own name and gender, play the character of a longtime friend of Grace and Trip, an attractive and materially successful couple in their early thirties. During an evening get-together at their apartment that quickly turns ugly, you become entangled in the high-conflict dissolution of Grace and Trip’s marriage. No one is safe as the accusations fly, sides are taken and irreversible decisions are forced to be made. By the end of this intense one-act play you will have changed the course of Grace and Trip’s lives – motivating you to re-play the drama to find out how your interaction could make things turn out differently the next time.
Facade! That's the one that my memory did not store correctly, cheers Catshade.

That sounds dangerously close to "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf: The Graphic Adventure", are they drunken obnoxious scum played by richard burton & liz taylor?
Can't go wrong Planescape Torment.
You got more text in there to put most books to shame, and than even some more.

Well the script was supposed to clock in at 800,000 words, enough to put most encyclopaedias to shame (I presume this was ALL text resources in the game including dialogue, item descriptions and the like but not actual game code since they said "script")
