All this talk of The Witcher 2 not supporting 16:10 because of the thin black bars... let me tell you about REAL lack of 16:10 support. I got Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale in the mail today from amazon. I install it (uses Steamworks despite not being on Steam... weird) and everything goes fine. Then I launch the game.

Resolution options are all 4:3 and 16:9. There is NO 16:10 support in the game, by which I mean resolution... you cannot select it, it is not there. That is REAL lack of 16:10 support.

Luckily I edited the ini file and 1920x1200 works fine.

Did it letterbox or stretch?

Also, is the 4:3 support actual aspect ratio support or just resolutions (with letterboxing)?

I have my monitor set to fixed aspect ratio scaling, so at 1080p it had black bars. Without fixed aspect ratio it would stretch to fit. I didn't try 4:3 but I assume it is the same.

With 16:10 set in the ini I am pretty sure it filled the screen.

Ah, so it's not actually fixed AR, they just didn't include 16:10 resolutions in the list, that's really annoying. They should just do what most games do and get the list of resolutions from your graphics driver or DirectX or wherever they get it from.
