I hate to even bring up a game that's not on here, but does anyone have http://www.talisman-game.com/talismande/

And if so how is it?

My friends and I have spent COUNTLESS hours fighting over the regular boardgame (we have literally every expansion) Was wondering how "true" to the boardgame that it is?

Course, I'm already seeing the evil way too many DLC expansions that cost ever more (wonder what the final cost on this thing is)
I have Talisman Prologue from a bundle.

It was a board game. Just on the PC. I thought it kind of a waste. In a PC game, I want immersion that board games don't give. In board games, I want the social interaction that doesn't go well virtually. Felt kind of like the worst of both worlds.

Isn't the prologue just single player?
yes single player only, I miss my old board game of it.

Yeah. That was part of the problem.

Multiplayer might be better. But board game rules don't really work for PC games. I would probably just invite people over for board games instead of getting the virtual version.
Ah, but some of my friends have moved off and are only around a few times a year. (course, I guess everyone would need a copy to play)

The upside might be that the GAME would determine what is equip-able, carried, and what your current stats are as well as what/when a spell can be used, etc, etc. All the old arguments.

Any of you guys have the City expansion BTW? I can never get over how easy one becomes the Archmage which is an overpowered add on, while it's nearly impossible to become the King's Champion. There should CERTAINLY be a dice-roll for Archmage and probably a more than 16% chance on some others... I always wondered who the hell play tested that expansion.
