After a gripping fourth episode, we are four days away from the conclusion to Tales of Monkey Island. Overall, I'd say it's been a blast, and the plot twists actually had me surprised. The fourth episode is the best yet, with unbeatable humor and some worrying happenings. They've released a few screenshots to tease the final episode, but I thought all you classic adventure fans would dig one of the three that brings a little nostalgia into the fray...

The boat guy looks very old-school 2D to me.
I have to say that Tales has felt so much more Monkey Island than I imagined it would. I had faith it'd be really good since telltale rock and all but I wasn't expecting it to be THIS good.
Damn I hope my media PC can run episode 5 or I'll be on a cliffhanger for months!
I'm tired of people talking about this game.
Mostly, I'm tired of reviewers who have to review every single episode of it.
That's garbage, you don't need to review every single episode.
You review the mechanics of the game, and then don't discuss the story of it until after the damn thing has been done.
I'm hoping that once the final episode is out, I'll be able to buy the whole season at a discount.
I'm looking forward to get the complete adventure once it will be out....
Damnit these games are coming too fast! I haven't finished the first episode yet!

I'm really not interested in buying a game in small parts either. That would be like buying a book chapter by chapter. That's just not for me.

I chose to buy the whole thing at once, then get the parts as they get finished. It's not like they will put it into a single game later, so you'll have to play each of the parts after one another anyway.
...i still have to get INTO the actual free chapter they released back ago. Curiously enough, Beneath a Steel Sky and Maniac Mansion Deluxe are the ones taking my point-and-click time, although i have to have a go at Wallace & Gromit's demo...
...i guess i'm more a Sam & Max kind og guy :B ...

Oh, God, yes, I need to get right on that once Monkey Island is finished. I kind of played the demo checking out how they would replicate the claymation style of the series, saw that only the mouth movements really carried over, and it wasn't the same actor I've heard before, so I went "meh". I'm thinking about giving it another try, as I feel that going in expecting something different would help.
Alright, it's December 8th, it's 9:30 pm. Where's my Monkey Island episode???
I really wish they'd put a time and a time zone on release dates, especially when it's an episodic game for digital download. A December 8th release could mean that they'll release it at 11:59 pm, Hawaiian time, by which time it'll have been December 9th here for quite a while.
[EDIT] Aww, it'll be at least another two hours :-(

No, but they did have a counter saying how many days left until release (now it just says "today").

Crap, not even done with the third one. Oh well.
That said, what Telltale did is pretty friggin awesome. Do we know if there's going to be a second season or not?
