I'll ask again here as well: does anyone know if it works on Win7 64bit?

Yup, confirmed working on Win7 64-bit!
If the graphics are screwy, you may have to run TA in windowed mode, but that doesn't appear to be an issue for most people.

Woo! Thanks.
Shiny, but I will still probably wait for a sale. Or until I get into the mood. Or, preferably, until it is on GoG and I can save 10 bucks by only buying it once.
We've been running it in the office on everything from XP to Win7 64. The game plays on all OSes we've tested.
If you get graphical weirdness, you may have to run the game in windowed mode (an option available via the launcher).
Good to see you in other places besides Twitter, zoomba! (KeenanW)

Good point. If GOG gets the soundtrack too then that's certainly some added value.

I wouldn't count on it coming to GOG anytime soon. Impulse is touting it as an exclusive.
Damn, I thought TA meant well, T&A on Impulse. : (

Exclusives don't last forever. Especially not in the gaming world. But first we need to get Atari here. Which is something that will inevitably result in as much cheering as bitching (thanks to the absence of D&D games). So yeah, it's not going to happen overnight. But I'm in no mad rush. It's just nice to see (a working version) back on sale again.
just a link

@ Zoomba
1 , why isn"t Battle Tactics included ?
2, i hope we can see Total Annihilation: Kingdoms + it's expansion on Impulse too.

Wow, more awesome than I imagined:
"Stardock is handling the support for Total Annihilation directly and includes a new launcher that helps automatically configure the game for modern systems, streamlines getting multiplayer games going and includes easy access to tips and tricks for getting the most out of it.
As part of Stardock's support for the game, it will be releasing subsequent updates (with Atari's permission) to further streamline multiplayer, incorporate Impulse Reactor and work with fan sites to incorporate new content into the "official" release. It will also be further enhancing the release to prepare it for eventual availability on other digital distributors.
In other words, we’re treating Total Annihilation similarly to a newly released title with ongoing updates wherever possible.
The package includes Total Annihilation + Core Contingency as a single integrated package.
What makes Total Annihilation particularly special is that (depending on your modern setup and trouble shooting skills) you can get the game playing at crazy high resolutions and the game runs fine."

Can you provide any details on that? Your system, game settings, etc.
