if it was a game from a publisher new to GoG, they'd advertise the new publisher first, not the game. getting LucasArts on board would be fairly huge news on GoG, and they wouldn't just advertise a single game.
EA is already a signed publisher on GoG, and the Syndicate "re-imagining" is supposed to come out in a month. releasing the original Syndicate now on GoG makes a lot of sense for both EA and GoG... and it definitely is one the most request games here.
System Shock is a possibility as well, but a rather remote one. 1) the game is so elusive that i'd figure they'd advertise a lot more if they managed to get in onto GoG, and 2) GoG staff have made it clear that the rights to the franchise are notoriously hard to get, and i'd reckon that if it was indeed happening, we would have been given more pointers up front, and there would have been rumours elsewhere.
the only thing that speaks against Syndicate and in favour of System Shock is the fact that the latter occupies spot #2 on the community's most wanted list while the former isn't in the top 10 at all (which is surprising...).
