what else starts with S that has been highly requested? Star Wars: Tie Fighter and Star Wars: X Wing? I just thought I'd point out that it may NOT be System Shock but potentially one of these 2 games since they said it starts with an s

gyokzoli: Big news! One of our most requested classic games is coming to @GOGcom on the 19th. Hint: its name starts with S

Barefoot_Monkey: Street Cleaner Simulator, or maaaybee Secret of Syndicate Shock. But they did say that it's one of their most-requested games, so it's probably Street Cleaner.
Oh, what I would give for a good, oldschool Street Cleaner Simulator. The only thing that would delight me even more is a Standing Around and Doing Nothing Simulator. But only if the gameplay is realistic.

On a more serious note, System Shock would be fantastic, but seems unlikely, as others have said...

EDIT: offtopic, but: wooo, online/offline seems to be working again

if it was System Shock I think I wouldn't be even happy about it because of all those people begging for it all the time (but it would shut them up for a while I guess :)
While Syndicate is a highly asked for game, GOG has been known for teasing us more for actually far less (remember the announcement of an announcement of an announcement)? Their PR strategies are far from ordinary, which is normal considering they have TheEnigmaticT at their helm. Plus that hat reminds me of a hat from Mansion of E.

In any case, there will be people who will be disappointed, there will be people who will be overjoyed and those who will be satisfied either way. It is the GOG way.
I really hope its System Shock 2. Please GOG, get us System Shock 2, i dont want to pay for an extremely inflated overpriced used copy on ebay. Unfortunately i doubt its System Shock, it would be just too damn good to be true. I think its most likely Syndicate, which would make a lot of sense, since the new one is coming out soon.
System Shock or Syndicate?. I reckon Syndicate, as the EA games have been quite quiet as of late. Defo purchase for me if it is.
im willing to give Syndicate a try but.... that'll go on wish list... im really hoping for some SS

Syndicate 2012 looks like a joke to me... kinda like a Futuristic Jericho

Well System Shock would be an EA game too... if they got the licensing tangle sorted out.

No offense, but by that logic, it could also be System Shock, because Bioshock Infinite is coming out soon.
I'll gladly buy either System Shock or the Syndicate. I never played either one, so I'm eager to see what the fuss is about.
System Shock,Syndicate or Star Wars:TIE Fighter and X-wing

Not really. EA owns the rights to Syndicate. EA rereleasing it shortly before their remake comes out is a cheap source of advertisement. Nobody owns anything related to System Shock as far as Bioshock is concerned.
Sam and Max? Please?
Serious Sam 3: BFE
