Hello everybody!

Is there any chance of seeing the two System Shock games released on GoG? (EA still hold the rights to the IP.) It would sure be wonderful to play them again. :)

I've heard there's a chance, but it's a legal nightmare. Many MANY people want them, however.

For the future, please don't post requests for games in the forums. There's nothing we can do about it, and GOG is pretty much aware of all the big games that everyone wants.

Well, I'd have added a "Welcome to GOG", but seeing as he registered in June 2010, it seemed a bit misplaced. With a rep of 1 I expect he's new to the forum though, so...

If you read this SillyRob, welcome to the GOG forum. Sorry about the sarcasm, but this question gets asked a lot, as you can see. We're normally very nice here. It's a great community, with lots of fantastic people.

On a related note, there's a sticky thread named "Welcome, please read", which among other things links to the FAQ (although it's the old one I believe), which will tell you a bit more about the place. GOG would love to have both System Shock games;they would jump to the top of their sales list. But, as pointed out, it seems to be a legal mess to get the rights.
