Every copy of this game I find is not compatible with my computer. All the games I've downloaded have worked great on my computer and seeing as they are both GOOD OLD GAMES it seems to be right up this service's alley. So if you think that both these timeless jewels should be rereleased via this website then e-mail gog.com stating so or add to this thread. Because fourms are meant to direct your opinion to the people in-charge
They would be great games to come to this site but emailing gog or adding posts to this forum isn't the best way to show it.
http://www.gog.com/en/wishlist/
They have a wishlist to add your vote for which games you would like to see on the site, system shock 2 is in top place with system shock in 3rd.
thanks I'm new to this website and don't know how anything works
EA still owns the System Shock property.
Who knows if they'd ever toss the final master copy over them two over to GOG for them to work their magic with to get going on modern Window PC's.

Oh for crying out loud...
For all the newbies here, use the goddamn wishlist and read the FAQ. Saying you don't know how anything works is not an excuse.

You seriously think nobody in the few months that this site has been open has talked about these games?
Next time, use a search.
you have to be by far, the most noob-y person I have met.

Yeesh, looks like the honeymoon period on forum civility is starting to wear off. New people tend to make posts we've seen numerous times before- this is nothing new. Simply directing the guy to the wishlist with a brief explanation, as Ralackk and MysterD did, was perfectly sufficient; the kind of hostility exuded by later posts in this thread just really isn't called for.
And stefanovs, welcome to GOG.

I'm sorry, but when the first thing you see when you enter the board, right near the top, is a topic titled "Welcome, please read", there's an expectation that the person will actually read it.

One would hope that people would take a minute or so to read the basics, but there will always be some who don't. It's still no reason to be rude or hostile to new members- simply pointing them to the answer to their question or the proper place to voice a desire for some game is all that's required. Injecting hostility does nothing but deter new members from sticking around (both the one who asked the question, and others who are simply taking note of how the community treats new members).

I actually went looking for the FAQs to give to someone and didn't even see that thread topic. Personally, I'm hoping that GOG will add a FAQs icon somewhere near 'Community Discussions'.

I can see where you're coming from, and I think the reason we lash out is because we see these posts so often and we just want them all to stop. I think I will show a greater deal of self-restraint next time someone asks a question that has been repeated numerous times already.
I think people are overreacting here. Although we certainly don't need anymore "Let's have XXXXX game here on GOG.com!" threads, cut the newbies some slack already, at least until GOG figures out a way to stop newbies from posting such threads
I mean, who really RTFM or RTFFAQ IRL?
-edit-
And before anyone points out, let me say that no, the Revenant thread wasn't a "let's have XXXXXX game here on GOG.com" thread

Aw well then technically I should have been banned since that was the thread title minus the enthusiasm :(
