Lets hope its good
Interesting. And not a single mention of going the crowdfunding route... I admit, I'm pleasantly surprised.
Great news. I only played the first game, but according to the article: " the final game isn't scheduled until 2014-2015 where it will be a "multiplatform" release. ", I have enough time to play the second game, before the third... :P
I always kidna thought Syberia ended 'satisfactorily' and didn't need a continuation, but hell, it's Socal so
\o/
I need to get to playing the second game as well
The adventure renaissance continues!
I Can't wait to try it out.
Hasn't 3 been on and off for a while now? And yeah, Syberia 2 concludes the original story so I'm not sure what this would be about. The further adventures of Kate Walker?
Syberia 3 was announced a couple of years back but what I hear is that Microids and Benoit Sokal had a fall out during that time. The game was officially stuck in preproduction up until now, so there is some need to remind people it still exists.

Darn it. Me too. My list just keeps growing. Ugh. So long life.

Same.

There really is no reason someone could not find an investor for a game like this in today's market, especially if they port it to touch devices. Glad they didn't go the KS route.
We'll have to see what the story will be about as I think too that the ending of the second episode was a good ending.

Good news anyway.
Let's hope it's more like the first and less like the second. Don't get me wrong i liked them both but the thing that made the first unique (the sad tone of places that once were great and now neglected) were somehow missing in the second one...For me it felt totally different even though it wasn't... Difficult to explain but that's how it felt to me.
Good news! Hope it keeps its standard.
It's not a "necessary to complete the story" sequel like the recently announced Dreamfall Chapters, but good news anyway. I loved Syberia, to the point where it's one of my all-time favourite adventure games (it's up there with The Longest Journey games). The sequel was pretty good too, though it had a few annoying puzzles that took away some of my enjoyment.
