He made a bunch of people swarm gift page just to enter a random code they found on the forums. How is that not pointless enough!?

ceemdee: If it is a contest then it's not a very good one. I mean, they're not even making you do anything pointless!

You've got it the other way round: in this case, it's the Wishing Well who does things that are pointless.
(If I had to take a guess who the Well is, you would be candidate number one, ceemdee.)

I suppose... though it would be more entertaining to post random fake codes and slip the real one in at some point. >:D

This is still not that difficult as your competitions, you just need to have some time and refresh a lot.
I see this (what wishingwell is doing) as a competition - the fastest wins, but I'm unsure if this is how it really works.

An excellent game, I have both this and the expandalone (Armored princess), great games both of them, but I probably prefer the first one slightly. Well worth 10 dollars :)
Well, that was a surprise. Certainly did not expect this.
I bought it abought it about a year ago from GamersGate so I won't be buying it from GOG any time soon, if ever. Personally, the game was disapointing for me due to lack of strategic layer and RPG elements being paper thin (quests are mmo level, no choise and consequence, no involving or interesting dialog etc.). Story wasn't that interesting either, the rage spirits had more dialog and depth than your so called wives (basically just additional item slots and poor unremovable magic item makers (yea you can make kids with your wife but game wise they are just unremovable low level magic items, woohoo!)). I rank the game average at best and you better like tactical combat a lot as thats pretty much all there is ad nauseum. Also magic is overpowered as from mid game onward your magic will deal more damage than your entire army combined to the point you can vaporise entire armies with single spell (two at most but you can cast two spells as mage with certain skill, in addition you have rage spirits to deal additional damage) so if you get to hit first, even strongest hero armies are pushover and leaderless armies are just ants for you to crush.
But despite my disapointment with this game in particular, it's good to see GOG.com get even newer games. Gives GOG greater change of getting games I like.

It's a King's Bounty remake, what did you expect?
I've seen the demo quite a while ago and liked the look of this quite a bit. Though I probably won't pick it up yet since I have too many other games to play and not enough time to play them with a full-time job.
Guys,
Anyone having trouble installing the game?
I've downloaded it 3 times via the browser), once with the downloader and always ended up with a corrupted file (setup-kings-bounty-2)...
Any two cents?

Very same problem here, same corrupted file too.. Downloaded that setup-kings-bounty-2 file multiple times and it always reports as "corrupt" at very end of verification. Anyone know what is/could be wrong ?
Just want to tell you that the URL to the King's Bounty gamercard has a character in it (the ´ - it should be a ' ) that makes it hard to give the link to others due to the way non-ascii chars in URLs are treated.
I own both this and the expansion already from Steam, unfortunately. Still, nice to see something like this pop up DRM-free.
I've gotta say though, this is the first time I've seen this artwork associated with King's Bounty. You guys are classic.
I have it as a bundled game with a game magazine, but I, like many others here, am still glad to see this one on GOG!
After the recent post at RPS on a new expansion-thing, I was about to buy King's Bounty on Steam. Good thing I waited. Thank you GOG!
AAARRRGGHH! I bought this just a month ago and I really enjoy it. That's it. I'm not buying another game except from GOG. I've already got a pile I can't get to yet and a few on my wish list to get from GOG later. I actually dread the thought that one of the games I haven't played yet will show up here next.
