Wow, a good remake of a good old game without DRM? I am definitely going to buy it!
Thumbs up!
Now please also release the sequel. :)

pecet: there is 2,6 GHz Processor in system requirements, but i wonder if it is playable on:
2.2 GHz C2D, 4GB of RAM, Ati Mobility Radeon HD 4570 ..?
OS: 7 x64

When they say that they usually mean single core.

wysyisback: On these specs it will run so fast you won't be able to catch it.

pecet: Thank you :)

Whoa, wait! It is HD 4570, I mixed up a bit. I have to correct myself and say that you will be comfortable but it will not be ultra smooth. I played it on C2D 1,8GHz, 3GB RAM and GeForce 9300M. It was perfectly fine but with some slower moments. Remember this is mostly turn based and the real time map travel is not an arcade game.
Certainly a good game this. Bought this and Armored Princess at the start of the year I believe in a Steam sale for about eight pound. Heartily recommend it.
Don't think it's exactly the same as Heroes of Might and Magic though. You don't manage resources or have a town. You do recruit an army though (troops aren't infinite). Enemies are randomly generated as well, as are items etc.
Anyways, not an easy game although I think Armored Princess better. (Granted, I haven't put as much time in with The Legend as I have with Armored Princess.)

Robbeasy: ...it all depends on how you define old!!

Pedobear approves ;).
I suppose by now it's clear your web graphics team really, really likes breasts.
Not that I mind; it's just that my girlfriend has started looking at GoG in a rather suspicious way ;)
Kudos for this release. Quite unexpected.
Very good game indeed. Release date may be of more recent kind, but gameplay is definitely old-school and classic in the good meaning of the word.
I think I'll buy it :)
Nice surprise release, wasn't expecting anything today. I'll most likely pass on this one due to my computer, but who knows if I'll pick it up later.
My Steam version is not working well on Windows 7 64 Bit I hope this version is working good on Windows 7 64 Bit. Maybe I will buy it again from here.

bazilisek: ...

Who wouldn't, assuming said person is a straight man. Or better yet, a lesbian woman.
And I bought it on Steam and haven't played yet.
Dammit.
Was cheaper there though.
Is the English translation as bad as I heard it is?
Played it a long time ago in original Russian, which had some terrific writing.
Surprise and interesting release yes. I'm still bogged down with too many other GOGs on my 'to play' list, but this will likely be the next one I buy.

My Steam version runs fine on W7x64 - what issues are you having w/ it?

English translation is perfectly fine to me, I didn't even have reason to stop and think about it being a translation (unlike many other games that don't "port" so well between languages [Gothic series comes to mind - the dialogue in that game probably sounds much better in the native German]

Thanks for clearing that up.
I'm sold :).
