Ohhh this is suprise. King's Bounty isn't old game so this release is ryly strange for me ;). I heard something about this game, maby I'll buy it.

TBH, I'm surprised that it's not already up here. It's a much better match for GoG's mission statement, AND it's not already widely available compared to this.

Add me to the list of those who want the "old" games. While I do like some of the recent releases, I want the hard to find older games. That is what truly makes GOG different from the rest.

A very welcome title here, and with a surprise arrival. Although I was expecting this title to be released sooner or later, since 1C joined gog. :)
Now, what is required to have the original game from 1990, here on gog? I'd buy it.

I've checked there now and it is $12.99, and the sequel is $29.99.
Indeed, there are some 1C titles that I somewhat want to try... would be nice to have them fully patched and drm-free here.
Titles like Fantasy Wars, NecroVision, Men of War (and the previous titles: Silent Heroes and Faces of War), etc.

actually, I've bought Inquisitor for Christmas and have never encountered a major bug since... I've started to play it a lot after installing patch around 1.06, now I'm on 1.10 and I think I had just two crashes of the game in those 5 months. Great game by the way, just my blood type ;)

You Czech users are not alone! I've seen increased Hungarian activity here recently (with gyokzoli becoming a somewhat active member, and two new arrivals in the introduction thread), so it must be a Central European invasion! :-)
(Hmm, maybe better make that reinforcement, given the GOG staff is Central European as well...)

+1 for the Hungarians:) Its a good thing, that so many people like the older games in Europe:) Mostly because there arent too much new games worth playing. Maybe 3-4 a year. So I usually go back to my old favorites, nothing can beat them:)
By the way im planning to buy the game, but anybody knows if it works fine on Win7? Since I installed it, my boxed version drops me to the desktop every 10-15 minutes. So if it works fine, than im willing to buy this great game again:).

I have been thinking about this the other day. I think the reason is that we're basically the first generation to be nostalgic about the games of our youth; and while Americans very often get this feeling around Nintendo (NES) games, we are the die-hard PC crowd. I don't think I have ever even seen a NES, myself. The market evolved much more slowly, with communism and all, and the first successful console around here was, I believe, the Playstation.
I personally grew up with the ZX Spetrum (imported from the UK for an insane price), but after that era was over, it was PC games that shaped my childhood. And I do think it's roughly the same case with Slovaks, Hungarians and Poles.
