Luned: EDIT: *sigh* That was supposed to be two separate posts, was entered as such. Forum gremlin strikes again.

If your post is the last one in a thread and a certain amount of time hasn't elapsed (not sure how long, perhaps anywhere from 30 mins to an hour?) your posts will be automatically merged. It's not forum gremlins, it's by design.

dragonmaster: This isnt the The Director’s Cut Edition, isnt it?

Don't think so. The Director's Cut is brand new.
Instant buy enjoyed the first one with its atmosphere now looking forward to play this one. Thanks gog

Navagon: As for this month of Activision, how is it going to work? I take it you don't intend to release the full 15 titles during that month? Only that always seemed kinda mad to me, given the work involved.

It means that there will be more articles, interviews regarding games published by Activision, not that during the whole month you will see just Activision releases.

Luned: It's a similar setup to the first game by all accounts. If that's the case, there will be no game-breaking moments. Just retry the puzzle. The first game's puzzles were "just right" in terms of difficulty in my opinion.

Cool. Thanks for the info.
Newby here, I just joined yesterday. My first purchases were Darkfall 1 and Gabriel Knight 1. This is a great website & forum by the way. Perfect for me because I love the old games!
Just wanted to add that Darkfall 1 and 2 were written by Jonathan Boakes, who later became famous with The Lost Crown, a fantastic spooky ghost story in the point and click format. Anybody who enjoyed The Lost Crown will probably like the Darkfall games.

As stated in the OP, this was something of a 'filler' title that was released due to the lack of a Tuesday release. I think they intended to only release Activision games this month. My question was: how many?

Welcome to GOG, then !
I perfectly hate Harry Potter btw ...
Dark Fall 1 was great, and I'd imagine that this one is just as awesome. But could someone please explain to me why people are so crazy about The Lost Crown? I've only played it for a little bit, but all the talk about it looking amazing, great story, great voice acting... I've encountered none of that so far. The actors don't seem to be very good, and the game is confusing.
Err, is there something wrong with me, or was this game priced at $9.99 earlier today?
Not that I complain about the current $5.99 price! :D
Actually it made the game jump from my wishlist to my virtual shelf ^^

It was indeed 10. Now that it's 6 I can consider getting it :D
[@Cheese33 - greetings!
The Lost Crown is very talky I'll agree. It's like an interactive graphic novel or movie. But there are some intense scenes that I found quite involving. It gets better as you go along, in my opinion. This is hard to explain unless I throw in some spoilers. But, if you don' t enjoy all the "back story" maybe you won't find it as exciting as I did.
I can't recommend the first game highly enough and I'm going to purchase this one at the first opportunity. Excellent "surprise" release GOG.

I'll probably try to go back, then. Thanks!
Apology accepted, GOG! This marks the moment I buy both Dark Fall games from you.
