I was wondering, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, while the bugs are being worked out in the downloader, if perhaps someone could spend an hour or so coding a nice support ticket system? It won't take that long, hell I could knock one up in PHP for you within a couple of hours, and considering you've got guys you pay for site maintenance and updating etc... they could probably do it better and faster than me.

Anyway, reason I ask is, well to be honest, I'm kinda tired of the current system. It takes weeks to even get told "we'll look into it" then when you reply, it's like nobody gets the mail, as I've been waiting for more and more and more and more weeks, and even repeated the reply to the mail, to no avail.

Also, I've made some suggestions, feedback, etc... heard nothing back. To be brutally honest, the customer service here seems VERY lacking in... well customer service.

So a ticket system for support, where you can see "Viewed/Assigned to ..." and such, you know see a status, see the "conversation history" from initial support request to the replies GoG give, and replies you give back etc. An actual way in which we as customers get to feel our troubles are not overlooked the moment we've parted with money to purchase something. And hell, maybe a way to see if our simple little bits of feedback or suggestions are ever even noticed, or just go straight to spam...

Please, GoG, help us... seriously... help us, support us the way we support you, we spread the GoG gospel, and spend what money we have on buying games through you, could you please spare a little time for the little people keeping your company up and running, and from the presentation... rather impressively keeping the company going, and give us a customer service system you can be proud of, and we can feel good about using, and feel more than just cash cows, and more like customers....
it has been stated on the forums many times that support is one of the area's that GOG needs the most improvement in

Witcher and Witcher 2 are coming soon so I suppose we should expect something by that time, also: An official response would be nice in this thread
It would deffinitely be nice if someone on the GoG team would give some kind of reply to this, as I'm sure there are a lot of people who'd love to see such a thing be put into the site, so to see we actually do get listened to, not just the things the team like picked here and there.. it'd be good for the community, IMHO at least.
Any other support? Or don't people care about the customer service?
I had no problem with the support yet... asked for 1 Key once and got it about 12 hours later :)

It's not that people don't care, it's that this has already been discussed so many times before, there's really nothing new to say. GOG knows the support is bad, they know they need to do something about it, they even know exactly what to do about it, they just haven't done it yet. However, it should be noted that the ticketing system you are asking GOG for already existed on the site, it is just currently disabled due to bugs in it. Hopefully that will be one of the things that returns after this week's site maintenance.

There is no maintenance this week ;)
It is postponed to the 35th of April :)

Ack! Yeah, I forgot that they changed it. Either way, hopefully the support system will be one of the returning features when they final do go ahead with the site maintenance.
Oh well, just would be nice for a GoG team member to say something, rather than us speculate and hope blindly.
