Im new to GOG and really like the idea of it but I've bought 3 games and 2 of them have problems 1 of them stops me from playing the game. I've made tickets on both and its been a week now for the first problem and a couple of days for the second problem and I havent recieved any reply. Do GOG only contact me if theyve got a fix for the problem?

Hang on in there, you'll find out!

Have you tried posting on the individual game forums. You will find a lot of help there.
GOG support should reply to you regardless of whether they have an answer or not. If they can't solve your problem, they usually work with you to try and find a solution together.
However, there apparently is/was a bug with the support system and some tickets are/were marked as solved. So you may want to try contacting them again (but I would suggest giving them at least 5 working days to get back to you).
Of course, there's also a chance one of the GOG support staff will see this topic =)
You'll know when they do, as their posts are rendered in blue text.

Explain your problems a bit more. What's stopping you from playing?
This community is more than a little helpful!

Usually, GOG customer service responds quickly but . . . with Activision games being added, testing the DD patch and who knows what else . . they are probably running a little behind.
I would read the game forums for the three games since most common problems are discussed and solutions given if available. If it is a popular game, you may have to look through several pages to find your specific problem. There are also game specific fixes available by logging in, clicking support and clicking on the support articles to the right of the your games avatars.
You might send a second inquiry for the problems as well since your first may have been misdirected.
I know that does not ease the frustration but . . . . =)
Thanks for the replies and ill try some of the things you mentioned.
Do gog support the games because Im still waiting for a response from them and they dont seem to post on the forum. I really want to get some of the games but Im worried that if I do Ill be stuck with broken games.

What games? What OS? What hardware. You'd be surprised at how much the community can help around here.
I made a post on the Sanitarium forum and Citizen Kobuto forum about the problems. Im running Windows 7 (which I know isnt officially supported on gog yet). I wouldnt mind if gog just sent me a reply that I need to wait until they support win7 but I've heard nothing from them and the Sanitarium problem is a game breaker for me.

Yes GOG does support the games, usually quite well. Most of the time, you should get some kind of response from them within 24-48 hours of when they received your message. If they haven't done that, then you need to send a follow-up message. It sounds like you may have been a victim of the bug that bansama mentioned.
As far as the games themselves, nearly all of them work just as they are without any effort on your part. GOG goes to great lengths to insure that the games will work on modern hardware and operating systems. There are some exceptions, usually due to specific hardware or quirks of the OS, but nearly any bug that has been found after a GOG release either has a workaround that is posted in the game's forums or GOG has gone ahead and fixed it.
EDIT - I just found your post in the Giants forum. The problem you are having is a very well known one that also affects Vista and you have already applied the only known fix for it. What more can the GOG guys tell you at this point?

I made a ticket about Giants on the 31st Jan and Ive just made a follow up message to it thanks. I made the Sanitarum ticket on the 4th Feb but I followed it up a couple of days ago after trying it again.
Edit- If the game has no fix for Giants its not too bad as the game is still playable but I would still like a message from them before I give them my money again.
My problem with Sanitarium seems to be fixed with help from the community, thanks. I would still like a response from gog before I buy any more games though which I would like to do.
Ive got a reply from GOG, thanks to all who replied to me in this post (Ive +rated everyone).
