cw8: Nothing much new but well the news made it on a website this time:
http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2011/feb/27/ono-states-theres-news-pc-info-follow-later/

As usual the few retard console fanboys have to attack like in many other sites:
Oh boy, development time being wasted on a terrible platform for fighting games, hooray!
*tries to do Zangief's SPD on a keyboard*

PC FTL, how do you even do special moves on keyboards anyway? You PC trolls should stop posting really and go play your pirated clicky strategery games. Heh.
That's it, I'm BOYCOTTING all Capcom games, for real this time. Because I'm outraged.
*looks at his several arcade sticks

Yup, they all use USB plugs....... oh, interestingly enough, my PC has these magical USB inputs!

*loads up GGPO and around 30 2D fighters, for lagless online play

Terrible system for fighting games.........right.

*loads up MVC3 on the 360 *connection lost, boot back to main menu*

Yeah.......right.

*goes and plays some 3S, online, against real people, looks at the consoles, and LAUGHS

Ditch GFWL and add Steamworks or other services for multiplayer = WIN.

Impulse Reactor is ideal for me...customizable by the developer so it fits with the original UI, and no forced client.

Yeah, they're terrible trolls I don't bother with them anymore. And they're pathetic, coz I know people who used to play the old SFs on keyboards and are able to do Zangief's Pile Driver.

My Logitech gamepad plays SFIV just fine, crispy movement and combos. I had to configure the buttons the first time and that's it.
My MadCatz Arcade stick is simply plug and play. I don't even have to configure the buttons, it's set how the arcades are set.

The irony is they are so ignorant they don't realise arcade hardware has been PC based for almost a decade now so it's consoles that are effectively the ports. Sega and Namco are the only holdouts with dedicated arcade/console based hardware and both use PC based ones as well. SNKPlaymore tried introducing their NeoWave hardware and that died on it's arse just like SNKPlaymore.

These days it's just simpler and cheaper for arcade manufacturers to build arcade boards using Intel chips and Nvidia GFX.
Damn awesome SFIV fan vid, subscribed:

Real-life Ultra Combos
Whether or not PC version of SSFIV is releasing will be announced in 2 days:
http://www.capcom-unity.com/ask_capcom/go/thread/view/7371/27434061/Why_has_it_taken_so_long_to_announce_SSF4_PC?pg=1

The ESRB info is kinda out:

If you've been following the Capcom forums, there are some posts which get your hopes up. But as again, I'm not raising my hopes.

The PC version is basically already done thanks to the arcade cabinet. I doubt Capcom would turn down free money.

... This IS Capcom we're talking about...
All that's been announced at Captivate so far is as suspected there will be an AE upgrade to the existing consoles SSFIV as DLC.
Bah! Not buying the game a third time
If they add the AE stuff to the PS3 version I would get the DLC (likely in a share group), but not buying the game a third time just for the Arcade Edition content.

I mean I already had bought SF4 and exchanged it for SSF4, but damn. (No DLC bought for any version so far though)
Would love to see this being released on the PC.

Umm that's what I said. They aren't making a full game of the AE edition. The extra stuff from AE is being made as DLC.
