Hawk52: Even though I'm from Washington State, I honestly felt bad for Peyton Manning. He kept trying, but the rest of the Broncos just gave up on him. He deserved better then that.

But yay Seahawks.
That was more or less my feeling towards the end of the 3rd quarter. Over all the Broncos just did not seem to have their shit together, but at some point it gets to be a bit too much.

That being said, I've had a profound dislike of the Broncos for years,so it took me a longer time to get to the point where I was feeling sorry for them than most of the other teams that could have been there.

On a side note, did anybody else notice how much Peyton looks like a character from Dilbert with that cylindrical head?
I thought there would have been some sort of comeback for the Broncos in the second half or at least have resulted in a closer game but the Seahawks made them their bitches. I wasn't excited for either team so it really made no difference for me other than a few cool plays and a couple of penalty calls that I wasn't expecting.

Also, the commercials sucked overall with the exception of the Matrix one. I didn't see all the commercials but they were a let down overall. I didn't even bother watching the half-time show.

TBH, I was excited for the Seahawks, but it was downright embarrassing seeing the Broncos fail to mount a serious effort to win the game. I think the Seahawks are good, but they're not that good, Peyton should have been able to manage more than 1 touch down. I mean, not even a field goal to go with it, that's just embarrassing.
Happy Seahawks won (after Dallas and Indy both failed to get anywhere) :)
The commercials were mostly disappointing. Not enough funny commercials.
Just got home. I was stuck on a single road for over half an hour. I didn't know if we could do it, but we completely stampeded Denver. There's going to be one hell of a party here in Seattle tonight.
Oh wait I just remembered one other decent commercial:

The Arnold Schwarzenegger table tennis commercial for Bud Light. That was surprisingly good.
The most boring super bowl in recent memory imo ;p
Seriously. A double threat of boring commercials and boring game.
That was almost painful to watch and I'm from Seattle. Seriously, what the dickens Broncos?

I really thought this would be closer myself. Several computer simulators ran a few thousand times predicted a much closer game. Denver seemed to have weird problems. Like maybe I'm just crazy but did Denver's center seem like he was trying to shovel the ball above Peytons head? In any case congrats to the Seahawks and their fans, except for that Sherman cat. Hopefully the 49ers can get one soon before the league introduces some "rule" changes again.
Aww, my thread got ignored.

NoNewTaleToTell: I could imagine the Bills moving to Toronto rather than L.A.

tinyE: A couple of days ago the owner of the Rams, who is from So.Cal, bought 60 acres of vacant lot next door to the Staples Center. Gee, I wonder what's going to happen? :P
Actually, it could be extremely smart 'double dipping' on his part. He keeps the Rams where they are (so far as I'm aware, there is no stadium problem or anything of the like going on) and now owns a prime parcel of land for any upcoming L.A. stadium plan. He can sell that to the city, or to the owner of whatever other team moves there, whenever it happens.

Anyway, let's give credit to Seatte. Everyone is talking about how badly Denver played...maybe that had a little something to do with how well Seattle played? I will never like the Seahawks, but congrats to them nonetheless, and particularly to the players I'm a fan of (Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman, Bobby Wagner, Doug Baldwin).

Last year he told them that if they were not to completely renovate the dome the city would be in violation of the lease and he would be free to take his team elsewhere. He told the city they had one year to come up with the $10,000 (I'm actually not sure of the exact amount) needed for full renovation.

One year later the city had yet to give him 10 cents for the renovation.

A few weeks later he bought 60 acres of vacant lot next to the Staples Center.
