Me too, the game is right up my alley. Really enjoy a city builder without worrying about having to fight someone. And, the reviews make this one look like an excellent game.

Was not paying too much attention to it, I would click on the promo if I happened to be on the forum to see if Jade Empire would be on sale, it was on earlier today and I got it, but nothing else was of much interest to me.

Not holding out for anything, but I will check from time to time to see if something interesting comes along.
Every time I see Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed I do think about how I would get them, if the rest of the series was also available.
And no i don't need a link to the wishlist.

I'm in no rush for it at the moment. I'm going to wait until it comes up as a flash sale freebie promo instead. (personal speculation)

Yeah, it's great that Ubisoft entertained adding some titles here, but sad that they haven't added more of the games in the various series they've dropped single titles for here. Personally I wont buy them anyway because I own all of the Tom Clancy games up to Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 on CD or DVD (and two copies of the original Splinter Cell) and they all work fine still except for the first two Rainbow Six games of which I just might buy them here sometime if I can't find some tips online on how to smash them into working from the original media. Newest title I own I think is Splinter Cell Double Agent, but I haven't and wont buy any newer Tom Clancy series games, or rather any newer games from Ubisoft specifically unless/until they show up on GOG.com DRM-free. Not holding my breath any time soon though for it to happen either as it seems unlikely. ;/Every time I see Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed I do think about how I would get them, if the rest of the series was also available.

VanishedOne: According to the left-hand panel, you registered about a month before I did, so you were a GOG member when GOG gave it away. Don't you know you're supposed to visit every day in case great things are afoot? :-P
No, I didn't. :) I was just happy to have found TR1+2+3 working in Windows 7 and did not bought much else back then. Oh well, we're here now. And I do check twitter every day now. :)

Seeing they are about to remove it from the site, I'm hoping for Original War, but considering it does not even have the 50% off like everything else, I'm not holding my breath. (Come on GOG!)

Smannesman: Well I definitely won't buy them when just the first title in the series is here.
And I can almost hear people saying "Well, but you should buy them to encourage them to release the rest here", but that's just not how it works for me.
It's a shame because I would be tempted to buy a nice set of say I-III for oh $40-50.
I'm not in any rush though, so hopefully they do become available sometime in the far future.
I feel the same way for some game series too, and not so much for others. Depends on how much the promotions are here or elsewhere on a given game or game franchise. For example, I waited forever for Hitman series to come on sale on GOG but it almost never does, however it comes on sale very often on Amazon, GMG, GG and so back in November I bought the entire Hitman series for about $7 which included all of the games except Contracts, which was off the market at the time. Now that Contracts is available for sale again I want to get it, and they went ahead and made it available on GOG. So I have almost all of the Hitman games on Steam, but I'm totally cool with buying Contracts on GOG when it goes on sale for 80% off (approximately what I paid for the rest of the games essentially for Steam). And I can almost hear people saying "Well, but you should buy them to encourage them to release the rest here", but that's just not how it works for me.

The sad thing is that when you're not totally violently opposed to Steam games, quite often the game promotions on Steam or one of the other half dozen Steam resellers end up being a lot cheaper than the game series promotions on GOG, and often include newer titles in a given series that aren't on GOG yet and may never be. It becomes very difficult to pass those deals up at least for me, unless research shows me that they contain copious amounts of assholeish DRM in which case I'll pass on the deals unless it slips past me invisibly. :) Then also sometimes games show up in bundles from Bundlestars/Humble/Indie Gala which are Steam codes at ultra cheap prices way lower than the price of the game on GOG and the given game might only come on sale on GOG once a year or something. I've ended up accumulating quite a few Steam games like that that I would have much rather preferred to get on GOG but the price was just way too good to pass up elsewhere for Steam.
Having said that though, there are a good collection of game franchises on GOG which are game-complete or very close to it, many of which I've bought all titles from GOG, and a few games which I've ended up getting on both GOG and Steam such as Tomb Raider 1-3.
I'll very strongly favour buying here, but not if the price elsewhere is 25%+ cheaper with no visible major pitfalls that are going to be a problem for me. Some games just seem to never come on sale here though which seem to be in rotation on other sites frequently, or they're available in an all-in-one pack elsewhere for dirt cheap, but on GOG just single titles only, or bought together with a slight bonus franchise discount. I waited forever for Still Life 1&2, Syberia 1&2 to come on sale here at one point and they never did for a long time, then all 4 games showed up in a single bundle with a bunch of other titles somewhere for Steam and I got a dozen or so games including those 4 for like $3.50 or so, when one of the games was going for almost double that here regular price for example. :)
I do not yet own Post Mortem though and want to buy it here if it ever goes on sale for <= $2.50. I've even turned down sales elsewhere on it cheaper than that hoping GOG would put it on sale. Once I finish Still Life 2 I'll be more eager to pick it up sooner though so hopefully I can snag Post Morten and Hitman Contracts here on sale before I'm ready for them or they show up in a bundle on Bundlestars with 10 other games for $3. :)

GOG employes have posted in the forums that Original War will not be going on any sales promotions between now and the time it is removed from the catalogue, so anyone wanting to buy it should buy it now while it's still here to ensure they can get it DRM-free. Don't have a link to the post, but someone will likely hunt it down and post a link now that I mentioned it.Thegevin

The Longest Journey series. However, seeing as how it isn't even getting the 50% treatment, I don't see it as likely to happen during this particular sale.
I did just grab Syberia 1 & 2, though.
