I am one day away from finishing my second semester here at OSU and going on a lengthy summer break. School doesn't start back up until the end of August for me, and I'm heading home to hang out with my little brother, play games, see movies, etc. When the rest of the family moves out to Virginia, I may even get the chance to rent a jetski and coast along Virginia Beach!

And for the older folks, Summer probably has you psyched for warm weather, entertaining movies, E3, Mad Men coming soon to Netflix, etc. Not to mention the release of some high-profile games, such as The Witcher 2, Brink, LA Noire, and so on.
Yup, waiting for better motorcycle weather, pulling out the smoker and cooking up a full ham and some Boston Butts, the twice-a-week weeding in the garden, putting the top down on the convertible and hitting the hills, cleaning and rearranging the garage, canoeing the Black River, chilling on the patio with music, margaritas, and sangria...

Been a long winter this year, and we are really ready for summer around here.

That sounds pretty sweet.

I have this crazy idea that I'm going to to do some running this year ........ without shoes or socks on.
Beer, barbecue, sleep, games and hot half naked women. What else is summer vacation for?
last summer vacation I spent playing Diablo II and the games I got on steam on christmas
I will be staying close to school this summer (Boston), and am interning two days a week. Most of the rest of my time is hopefully going to be spent reading. I have a list of books I want to read that is about probably 30 titles long at this point. And also computer games, of course.

Their summer is our winter =P

And so mid-year vacations are only in July. Not that I ain't in some kind of vacation all the time, being in my college's last year and having no internship.

June: format my lappy, my sister's lappy, buy a new home PC, and format my dad's company's PCs and fix everything else computer related that I or my family owns. Finish most of the games that I own.

That's it for now. :)

July, August, and September, I'll probably be studying XNA, WPF or ASP.NET.

I know that =P
But as the topic was summer vacation I felt an urge to share what I did on mine. =)

But I'm still not sure if you're talking about our summer vacation or about the vacation that happens at the same time as theirs, lol.

None of my PCs can handle The Witcher 2, Brink and L.A. Noire. I also dislike hot weather. So not really looking forward to the summer.
i am excited for windsurfing and jetskiing and beachgoing and floating down the river with a six pack and a bunch of friends.
and at night: playing whatever game i got during the last steam/gog sale.
