rasufelle: Whatever you think of the 360, though, there's no denying that, in the long run, it will be the system people think of as defining this particular generation of home consoles.
StingingVelvet: Among core shooter fans in the US? Yes. Worldwide and across all genres? No. For one thing the PS3 has actually outsold the 360 worldwide. For another the Wii has outsold both of them.
If my argument prove false, then as I said, I'll be happy as a clam, since the PS3 deserves to be the one remembered. I just didn't see it as so from what I saw of the market. And, let's face it, once the next generation comes out all those happy people who picked up Wiis are gonna chuck 'em unless they're into retro gaming, because the Virtual Console is really the system's only truly redeeming factor.
