Yikes... It doesn't take much for me to get frustrated with a game these days, and those problems sound like the kind of thing that would bother me. Depending on what others say, it looks like I'll be saving my money till a big sale. A shame, I was hoping for the mech battles to be something like Zone of the Enders for PC.

I checked IGN and they gave it a 7.5, so it looks like Eurogamer have a problem with it, but others don't. Still, the devs stated it was desgined to be hard "because that's what our niche of customers want".

Wow, that's a pretty harsh review. Looking around the net it looks like it's generally getting 7s from most reviewers, which suggests to me that its ok, but not great...

It will be interesting to see how it goes. I get the feeling that many gog users might give this a miss...

My impression was that if you love games like Star Fox, Star Wars: Starfighter, etc, you'll love SSZ. I'm in this group.

However, if you find those games to not be complex enough for you, or to to be tedious, you'll hate SSZ.

Most of these reviews honestly seem to be done by people who have never played anything close to Star Fox.

And judging from the comments in the review and comments on the review, the reviewer sounded fustrated if not outright pissed about the game, which would heavily colour the review.

I read on their KS page that I needed to contact them if I wanted a GOG key instead of a Steam one, which I did... I was sent a Steam key today -_-

Comments suggest all backers will get a Steam key anyway. Just need to private message them to say u wanted a GOG key. the steam key is just a bonus

I really, really hope, that this SOMETHING UNTOWARD is not a release of NWN2!
Dragons can wait in their dungeons for a while, but I want to be sitting in the cocpit of SS0 today!
