It has SecuROM as well. Soooo dissapointing. Figures the only real fighting game on PC in North America (that I know of anyway) has to have dickish DRM.

Disc check or activation based? Do you know this, I hope it will use only disc check of Securom.

It says disc-based...that still installs crap on your PC, though, no? Either way, if it uses GfWL for online activation, I'm out.

Same..got the boxed version..couldn't resist. We should play online soon. :)
Anyone worried about the SecuROM can just get it from Stardocks Impulse. It uses Stardocks GOO Drm which a lot more palatable than SecuROM.
Also the PC version for once is awsome and there are so many people playing it online! You can set it to search for opponents while playing Arcade mode and I never even got to fight number one. A decent joypad is a must though.

That's no surprise as it was designed for the PC first and foremost; the original Japanese arcade release uses Taito's Type X² hardware, which is actually Windows XP Embedded running on mostly off-the-shelf x86 PC components. Seriously. Capcom just had to test it with Vista/7 and a wider variety of hardware, add the home version features, and click the "print money" button. :)

Indeed. I'm loving this PC version!

I'll be sure to add you, too. Hopefully, I can get a game going on without being interrupted this time! I bought my copy from Impulse ($5 pre-order discount), so that's the only way I can see who's playing it.
