SeduceMePlz: Using the (still terrible) forum search, I didn't find a thread about this, so:

New live-action series by Machinima. About Ken and Ryu, their master Gouken, and Akuma. Essentially a film prequel to the Street Fighter games.

The actors look the part and wear the clothing they do in the games. The action incorporates the fighting moves from the games. At least some of the music is from or inspired by the games.

Overall, good stuff. Well-written and well-acted with great action. Far better than the crap film Hollywood churned out. Recommended for fans of the games.

wpegg: I am bumping this, because I'd like to know more opinions. It's worth watching the series, it doesn't take that much time, and it's definitely a high quality production.

wpegg: Oh, and is there any reason for the subtitle "Assassin's Fist"? It seems entirely irrelevant.

SeduceMePlz: "Assassin's Fist" might be the name of the fighting move/technique that Akuma uses to kill Goutetsu.

Nergal01: The form of martial arts that Ryu and Ken learn from Gôken is called "ansatsuken", which AFAIK translates to "assassin's fist" or "assassination fist", indicating what it was originally used for.
