As the game ended, would you mind to reveal some information?
*How big was the map you've been using?
*How did you place players and treasure?
*Were all the fields 'predetermined', or did you make up the descriptions of locations on the fly and how about the 'events'?
*Would you mind to reveal some examples of what people encountered?

This game was quite simple... no events at all (was planned for round 2). Everyone started at the beach around the island. The treasures were hidden quite centered, that everyone had the same chance to get it (if they did not decide to dig up the whole beach *gg*).
The Map was 10x10 fields (square) in size.

So, I take it that the 'what happened' part in was not present for this version, or was the 'general' message you left for everybody to see?
The little map you showed in an earlier posting didn't look all to much like a square, but rather like a rectangle ;)

Any chance to include some samples of what people encountered?
And how far are you into the development for v2?

THe messages were basically just an information what you can see where you are at the moment or if have found anything if you searched for the price.
Example:
While walking beside the beach and looking for any treasure, you decided to turn your direction to the west.
As you moved to the river again, you can see, that some kind of a bridge would allow you to cross the river here.
You can see:
Where you are: Grassland
North: Grassland
East: Grassland
South: Grassland
West: Bridge over the River

As we had 10 players (okay, reaver didn't wanted to be added to the draw, but if his number would have been rolled I would have rerolled it) I throw 2 10-sided dices.
