I love both RTS and turn-based ones, but I'm still scared of wargames seemingly complex like the Paradox titles (which is also the reason I'm not entering for this wargame :D).

Background? I prefer historic periods like WWII, Dark Ages and such, but I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy ones, too. War based are my favorite ones, but many 4X games require to manage economy as well, so it's not a big deal to me. ;)

While I enjoy a good real time strategy, I'm a turn based fanatic, be it turn based tactics or strategy. As far as background goes I always found realistic military games to be extremely bland. Heroic fantasy(including science fiction fantasy) is my cup of tea.

I'm totally in thanks and +1. I'm a tbs person first, esp HoMM, MoM, but there have been some fabulous rts games too - like Warcraft 1&2 or real world ones like Age of Empires and Stronghold. Again, much appreciated.
