Inquisitor is not the best game out there and has balancing problems but it is not by any means unplayable.

You know, I've never played a Masters of Orion game. Is 3 really that bad or is it just because it wasn't like the first 2?

I think the OP is right. And I'm not sure if a simple refund is enough. We have to shut down GOG.com completely and burn down their central. Then we have to torture and quarter all their employees.

That will teach them not to sell games that are too difficult for me..., ehm I mean that are UNPLAYABLE.

The game is broken beyond any playability.

It is actually not all that bad. It is very bad compared to MoO 2. The presentation turned of a lot of people. It actually has a very good concept, but it is (deeply) flawed in the details.

It is less of an 4X game and more of a proper empire simulator.

Mind you its been years since I played it (on release). But I spend a lot of time on that game.

Bashing MoO 3 is somewhat popular, as it is an easy target. But that's it. There are far worse games being sold here.

I had to respawn on a NWN server the other day ALL because I failed a saving throw. A saving throw! It was ridiculous! I just want everyone to know that thanks to the OP, I have worked up the courage to contact my local congressmen on this unacceptable issue.
