you could make a stickman DOOM:

Have a couple frames for walking, a couple for shooting things and their deaths and VOILA! instant stickman flipbook.

This wouldn't be presented from a first person view but from the side, so to speak.

3-4 for walking, about 1-2 for shooting then a couple of frames for the death animations of the various DOOM creatures.

"DOOMStick"? Sort of a play on the word "boomstick" as in the shotgun, which is also present in DOOM :D.
Make it Dead Space instead.

Walking... dead body animates... begins walking across length of page... remove arm, leg, head... topple.

Necrostick (necromorph)

An engineer is stranded on a ship infested by an alien presence that reanimates and reassembles the dead stick bodies. Armed with a laser box cutter, our protagonist stumbles upon a dreaded Necrostick.

Cpl. Jen Eric hastily dispatches her foe (Ooo, a female role model) and makes her way to the bridge dodging the Abominable Stickman (animated mass of stick parts) which stalks the dark corridors. Hiding in a malfunctioning escape pod, Cpl Eric finds the Captain Doodler. Driven mad from watching his crew slaughtered and reanimated while trying to escape, the Captain rambles on about the voices that directed him to unearth an artifact on the moon below. He is clearly mad, as the ship log clearly states that the ship was given the coordinates to the artifact by their employer. However, Jen had until now dismissed the eerie call of a crying child. There had been no children aboard the SS Optimist.

One suggestion or two:

The word "stick" should be written in the DOOM font if possible.

Are you planning on doing this in color or just in pen/pencil?
