Rohan15: Ini mod? HUH??

nicked from somewhere on the net: "Edit the 'indigo_prophecy.ini' file and changed 'USMode=1' to 'USMode=0' as this apparently enables some sex scenes that were in the Euro version"

Will do, thanks. =)
And you complain that kids are going to become murderous porno freaks in your Dante's Inferno thread. =P

Wraith: Eh, I already have those. Granted, I have Quake II, Quake III, and Doom 3 + expansion, but I never had the mission packs, the original Doom (Had PSX version of Doom/Doom 2). I also have an OLD copy of Quake but I have no idea where it is, but as long as I can install Tenebrae on it, I'm good.

So get it, for $35 I'm considering it too. :)
You'll get all the expansion packs and etc. I've read somewhere that yes, you can use some source ports for the older games, so probably Tenebrae works, but I'm not sure of it. I recommend the "Berserker@Q2" mod for quake 2 if you have a good GPU. (but I haven't tested it with steam)

Rohan15: Deus Ex: GOTYEdition (How well does it run on modern hardware and Vista?)
FYI, I have shitty Internet ATM, so I can't really get demos. Please help. =)

It uses the Unreal engine and as such is very scalable.
It runs fine on my desktop which is probably the most modern you can get atm. With Vista 64 bit. So I can ease your mind on Deus Ex.
I also bought the Jedi Knight bundle but have not installed it. I'll try to install JEdi Academy and I will tell you whether it runs or not.

Got it, having a little trouble with Quake since GLQuake hates either Windows 7 or the fact that I'm on a 64 bit OS...or both. I got Darkplaces working tho, so at least I have a high-res option already.
I didn't notice it at all when it released, but Fatale, the new Tale of Tales game, came out in November. Did this get any attention on the Steam client at all? They got pretty worked up over The Path and even The Graveyard.
At any rate, it's $7 by itself, but if you buy it at the website along with The Graveyard the total is only $6! Not a big deal, but kind of nice buying the full version of The Graveyard and getting paid a dollar for your trouble.
Also a headsup: Knights of Honor doesn't have the usual Vista warning, but down below the OS listing is for XP and 2000 only, and the demo (which is a bit hard to come by as a lot of the links are broken; I found it at Gamershell) doesn't work on my Vista machine. It won't even try to launch and even the uninstaller is a problem. Man, I'd never heard of this game and was getting *really* worked up to play it.
X2: The Threat and X3: Reunion also leave Vista off the specs, but some forum diving tells me they might run. I'm springing for them and will edit this post when I find out for myself.
(Edit for weird double post.)

X2 runs fine both on Vista and on 7 (64 bit versions).

X3 Reunion and X3 Terran Conflict ran fine on my Vista 64 and run fine now on Seven 32 and 64. X3TC is very good ! Got it in last year xmas sale.
New deals up:
Football Manager $29.99
ID Superpack $23.79
Left 4 Dead 2 $33.49
Serious Sam HD $9.99
Need for Speed: Shift $37.49
Looks like they are just marking down things that were previously on sale. I know a lot of people that got the ID pack yesterday, heh.

Yeah it's fairly lame. Good thing all I got yesterday was Buckets of Blood and Defense Grid for $3.90 total. I'm thinking that it's now a pretty safe bet the Fallout 3 GOTY edition will definitely drop to that $18 price people saw earlier.

Meh, nothing attractive today, only the id super pack.
I'm sorry for the guys who bought it yesterday. Hmm now I see you can get id pack+unreal pack for that $35-37.

I'll echo the sentiment.
11 extra euro aren't a big deal, but after waiting a month for a bad stick of RAM, I'm pretty annoyed.
I could have doubled my GOG collection with all that money.
