The point of this was to put the popular ones and give people a second chance.
That being said, I finally grabbed the Silent Hunters and T-72. Was hoping for a super-sale, but guess not.

Yeah that's pretty fail -- they just took all the dailies that sold the best and offered them again. Would be fine if they did that in addition to new deals but... ah whatever... guess I'm just complaining.
I bought a grand total of three games from the dailies. Back to waiting for weekend/midweek deals for me.
Oh if for some crazy reason you didn't get Torchlight at $5, get it, gift it, etc.

Aye. I grabbed Torchlight a few weeks ago when it was for $10. Very fun.
Usually I dislike the diablo-clone genre (I like roguelikes, but I don't like mindless clicking). Torchlight is pretty fun though. And I vaguely recall reading that we'll get the "MMO upgrade" for free?
You people bitch too much. This entire holiday sale was awesome and you're complaining that the last day has some repeats for the people the people that missed out on the beginning of the sale? psssshaw! They've still got the majority of their game selection at bargain bin prices.

Sort-of. It's not so much an 'upgrade' as it is the MMO client will be available for free and contain microtransactions for dungeons/regions you can invite your friends to, i.e. only one person needs to have paid for the map, etc. Of course it's still about two years away and the pricing scheme can change.
In the interim, according to Ron Gilbert, Deathspank is pretty much complete and in a beta/bug testing phase. Could possible be out in the Spring.
Thought about picking up Killing Floor this time, but decided not to.
I'm not much into Multiplayer/Coop games as I used to be.
For me I guess the highlight of this holiday sale was King's Bounty: Armored Princess. I keep hoping for a proper retail release, but at least I got the game now. Also, the LucasArts pack, which I bought mainly for Loom. Good stuff, though I wish I could have bought it on GOG instead. I still think LucasArts-on-GOG is fairly inevitable in the long run, so I was prepared to just wait, but the price was just too good to pass up.
The other games I bought this year (Zombie Driver and Foreign Legion) were a bit disappointing.
I'd like to remind people that the Eidos Pack is still going for $50, and that's the normal price of Batman: Arkham Asylum which is included in the pack. Not only will you be getting what could easily be called Game of the Year, you're getting some other great titles, like Deus Ex, Hitman: Blood Money and so on.
I finally succumbed to Steam just in time to get the C&Cs for what, $19?
Third Torchlight sale in what, a month? Guess they want to expand their customer base as much as possible in wait of the MMO release. Which is probably a smart move.
I spent about 15 more precious euros getting some indie titles as well as Rome:TW and Medieval:TW for now. Agonizing about whether to buy more.
Stuff I still want and might stomach buying on Steam includes:
Risen
CoD:MW2
Eidos Pack
Sherlock Holmes Pack
CoD:War Chest
Left 4 Dead 2
King's Bounty Gold Edition
Company of Heroes Complete
Gun
Call of Juarez
Which would set me back a good ol' 346,99 euros.
Nah. I'll just play Torchlight until my eyes implode instead.
Also, TrackMania: United Forever Star Edition is a great game, so if you like arcadey racing, get the game while it's on sale.
I think the price on Fuel just got dropped. However, it sounds like Europeans got screwed again.
It's now $5 / £3 / 25€.
Hopefully they correct the discrepancy.

Sounds worth it at that price, sounds like a very underrated game that not many enjoyed.

FUEL was worth $39.99. One of the few full price titles I purchased and got my money's worth from.
I'm very proud of myself, having spent less than $50 on video games this holiday season. Saving money is fun!
Apparently, willpower can overcome great sales.
