Gundato: So... how are the mods for Crysis (and Warhead)?
The core games are average, from what I have played. I hear the MP is pretty much dead. I know there is a Mechwarrior Mod (more like Battletech, but whatever), but is there anything else?

Theres a pretty neat back to the future delorean mod

acare84: Meh for me again to today's deals. Maybe I should pass the deals and buy Deus Ex: Invisible War or Oblivion GOTY?

Unless you want to end up in tears, I suggest you avoid Invisible War. Maybe get the first one?

I got first one and finished it when it was released.

Honestly, IW isn't THAT bad. It does have a really annoyingly oversimplified ammo system and the gui is a bit painful (but that is true of lots of games...), but it is still pretty fun.
The main problem is that it was called "Deus Ex", so it could never live up to everyone's expectations.
I really enjoyed Invisible War.

There are three vids of Harvey Smith and Warren Spector chatting together in front of a class about making Deus Ex and then Deus Ex: Invisible War. It's pretty interesting (especially how they make the brilliance of DX come off as an accident), and what Harvey has to say really went wrong with IW is exactly how I've felt since playing it: It's no longer rooted so much in the real world, the events going on around us, the backbone in history and conspiracy theory that really made up the first game are all gone. Everything in IW was completely fictional.
Where-as DX has all these locations we can connect with, e.g., the Statue of Liberty, DX:IW's world in unrecognizable, no matter where you are.
I did like IW alright, and there were of course other problems besides these.
Rofl, I'm a complete retard. That and I have too bloody many Steam games. WTB some way of arranging them better than list.random().
I was going to buy HL:Source since I figured that, hey, it's two bucks and probably good as a collector's item, plus it'll entertain me for one playthrough at least. And hey, it's two bucks.
So I click add to cart, impatiently await the checkout page, check the box next to the steam subscriber agreement babble, and click purchase.
Up comes the standard purchase screen. While moving the mouse pointer, still impatiently, over to click "Purchase" I notice some words like "you already", "own", and "will not receive extra copies" on the screen. However, before my muscles can react to my nervesignals that are screaming ABORT ABORT, the deed is done. I have clicked purchase, and have purchased a game I already own on the same account that I will not get an extra copy of. All willingly.
Turns out HL:Source was already included in some bundle I bought on another promotion aaaages ago.
Yeah it's only two bucks, but goddammnit.

That's because you are obviously an enlightened being who is able to recognize a superior game. Deus Ex is an overblown, overrated, obsolete relic. Invisable War is a FAR better game.

They are divided into Favorites, Installed, and Not Installed. Alphabetical in each category. You can change that by the following:
Switch to the default display method (so not minimized)
You have tabs. Store, Community, My Games, etc.
Below that, you have "Games Status Gifts" etc. Click one of those. The arrow indicates if it is ascending or descending.
Get Street Fighter 4. It's a good deal.
Hopefully we can get Super Street Fighter 4 to be released on PC as well.
SSF4 will be released in March 2010 for PS3 and XBox 360, respectively.

Yeah yeah, I know all that. Still, when you have a-hundred-and-fumpety games it can get messy. This time though the problem was more the fact hat I completely forgot about the not installed section, since I have so few games that are not installed. HL:Source was one of those few.
Anyway, you live and you learn. Will ponder SF4 for a while yet. I did play SF2 naturally, back in the day, but haven't played a fighting game since the days of SF2 and MK3. Back then I used to play hot seat with a friend or three, and it was a blast, but I was also 13 years old at the time.
I always saw fighting games as something simplistic, almost childish, with little replay value once you got the moves going. I'm probably completely wrong though and fighting games have evolved into the third and fourth coming by now.
Also, Osmos is feckin' hard, but strangely compelling.

Mass Effect 75% off
RedLynx Trials 2: Second Edition 75% off
Portal 75% off
DOOM Pack Complete 66% off
Devil May Cry 4 25% off
Sam & Max Complete 75% off
Well, at least the Sam & Max pack is worth getting for anyone who's mad enough to have missed out on them so far.
Good deals, but unfortunately I already own everything except Devil May Cry 4 and RedLynx.
So. How is Devil May Cry 4?

I don't have them. Nor will I be buying them. But that's because I can't stand them. I liked the original Sam and Max, but these ones, just annoy me for whatever reason.

I played Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3 when I had GameFly, and it seemed decent enough. Not sure about the PC, though.
