Snickersnack: Killing Floor is a steal at $5.
seriously, something is wrong with my steam installation and I can't add you as a friend because it can't handle functions like "steam://adduser" or applaunch or anything (which means I can't join games from "you've been invited..") so please add weclock.
No games for me today too. I hope we will see Tropico 3 for $10 or so. I am only waiting for it.

Metro09: Yep, today's deals are (U.S. .dollars):
Orange Box $15
Space Siege $5
Burnout Paradise $7.50
Killing Floor $5
Prey $2.25
Definitely going to pick up Killing Floor for $5 -- fairly entertaining co-op with good developer support.

The guys at Tripwire cannot handle criticism. Meh.

Tripwire rule, they are BIG on post-release support. I bou8ght Killing Floor on faith for full price at $20, and it was well worth it. Anyone that likes Left 4 Dead, or fantasy/horror in general woudl be doing themsevles a disservice not picking up KF for $5.
Come on Gratutitous Space Battels for $5! Should be up by Wednesday.

I preordered Killing Floor, and I was very angry at how Trip Wire handled the release delays.

Weclock: Sorry, that's not how facts work.

If you knew your initial statement weas erroneous, why did you make it at all?

The same argument could be pointed at you.

Fairly irrelevant to me.
Anyway, they've apparently run out of keys for Prey so they've substituted Bioshock at $5 in its place.

They are out of stock of a digital download? That must be a first.

Nope it happened for Company of Heroes Gold, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory or Double Agent and for Stalker 1 too.

So much for the digital advantage...

taczillabr: All DLCs are included in Burnout Paradise on Steam? Anyone bought and played it for hours? Is it a boring need for speed on an open world, or what?

Haven't played for hours and sry, no idea about DLCs. Just bought it today, played a bit and had a blast doing so. And that is coming from one who usually sucks playing racing games.
It's basically a town for racers where you go where ever you want to find different races, stunts and what not. The open world is however restricted that way, that you'll need specific cars for certain races / events. The more races you won, the more available cars and opportunities you have.
It's not another "realistic" driver where you need to pick the right setup and drive without nearly no faults to succeed, but more of a fun racer. For that price I certainly recommend it.
That's kind of ridiculous..
I just wanted to buy prey..
I never thought that a product on a digital distribution service like steam could be sold out. If they hadn't been given enough keys (respectively licenses), they shouldn't put the game up for sale. Thats absolutely annoying. So nothing for me today on steam.

That just stumps me completely, that a digital product can ever achieve a sold-out status. Why do they need the keys anyway when the product is sold through Steam?
At any rate, getting Bioshock at 75% as a replacement sale is an even better deal.

It could be, but it would be incorrect, factually.
