Once again, Steam is doing their crazy-ass holiday sale. They are also using a similar system to what they used for Black Weekend, where they have a selection of really crazy deals for a day, then replace them with new ones. This week, we have STALKER reduced to $1.99, Mirror's Edge reduced to $4.99, and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising reduced to $19.99.
Damn sales...
Just bought a few games.. Is it just me, or does their storefront seem kind of broken? Shoddy navigation, I want to look at all of the games on sale but I get a heap of repeats under the genre categories.
Anyway.. Transferred some money to my other account, once it comes through, I'm going to show my support for GOG and get the games on my wishlist. Well, as many as possible.
There are some absolutely crazy deals going on.
STALKER: Clear Sky is only $5 (not sure about regional restrictions) if anyone wants to give it a try.
The LucasArts Adventure Bundle is only $2.50.
I ended up spending far more than I intended to in this sale.
Goodness Gracious! Might very well end to spend some of the bucks I don't have...
Fuck....Now, I have to make sure not to deplete all my Christmas money on Steam games.
EDIT: Wow...Flaotout is cheaper on Steam...Should I buy it here and get the bonuses or rent it on Steam? SIGH...
EDIT 2: Hey, is Foreign Legions: Buckets of Blood worth the 2 bucks?

It just had a huge update. adding more maps, etc., to it apparently. So I would say yes, it's worth $2.
A near complete list of the deals: http://didimatic.com/dd/en/onsale/
(Some packages that don't appear in Steam's search options are not listed at this time.
I never want to see another sale again.
Just got GTA4 for $7.50
This week alone I've gotten 9 games (7 on Gog, 2 on Steam) for a total of $57.50
The Gog Might & Magic pack (all 4 of those games), Torchlight sale on Steam. Tropico, Psychonauts, and Advent Rising yesterday on Gog, and now GTA4.
I spend more time buying games than playing them.

Yeah, navigation is terrible. But the sale is just too big 0_o Personally I dislike these huge sales. I prefer a few sharp deals (like the 24-hour ones). Ah well, might pick up the new Monkey Island and the Orange box, after I've spend all my money on GOG..
Jeez, at the rate my Steam folder is growing, I probably need to allocate more space or just get a new HDD for Steam.
Would have gotten more games from Steam if not for the crappy and weak Malaysian currency (known as Ringgit).
Can someone buy me GTA IV from USA or UK and gift me? I will send $7.49 or £4.99 to Paypal account or buy a game from Steam or GOG.com. GTA 4 is region restricted in Turkey. :(

It's the same here too. I bought a used GTA4 in Malaysia and it was almost 4 times that price.
Hopefully, it won't have that Securom crap on Steam.
The DRMs for GTA4 was a lot of work. Need to activate online and need to have the disc in while starting the game.

It has Securom on Steam too. But as you said I hate disc check, and sold my old Retail copy and I want to buy the game from Steam now.
*waits for the appearence of complaining posts on the forum about the bundle deals *

Very nice deals, but I've got the ones I would have wanted and I'm willing to pay a premium for non-Steam games.
SecuRom leaked its own no-disk check by mistake some time ago , so I play my retail GTAIV without a disk.
Well, haven't bought anything yet. Pretty much waiting and hoping for a further discount on Empire: Total War. Besides that, I am looking at two games in particular-- The Witcher and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Kind of funny because they're basically mirror opposites. Still trying to decide which one would be a better purchase. On one hand, the Witcher is supposed to have a great story, but the gameplay seems a bit contrived. I've always loved the Roller Coaster Tycoon games, but I'm worried that it won't be as fun for as long as I remember.
Anyone got an opinion of those games?
