gyokzoli: Does anyone know who is crdy123 on Steam? He is in the GOG Gifting Group and won one of my giveaways like 2 days ago but neither responded on steamgifts nor activated the game on his/her account.
avatar
GameRager: I dunno but I am having issues of my own with my giveaway......I clicked send gift to send the winner his gift, yet says he never got it in his email.
you have send the gift in steam to the email address that has been shown in steamgifts?
The button in steamgifts is just an indication to tell the system, that the gift has been sent.

Doy, i'm such a moron. Thanks Ubivis.....so I go to manage gifts and guest passes and send it through there right?
Finally, here are the results of the little survey I did:

- In total, we had 41 valid participants.
- 51.2% of the participants prefer to see mid price games to be given away (34.1% prefer cheap games)
- a blasting 90.2% prefer Role-playing Games, followed by Strategy (43.9%), Adventure (34.1%) and Action-Adventure (34.1%)

As the result of this, you can guess what my next giveaways might be :)

Copies of Septerra Core, perhaps? 0.o

Also....just a suggestion......next time allow one to pick all their favorite game categories. I had 4-5 favorites but couldn't pick them all as you said to only pick 3(And to me all 5 were equally important/liked.).

Correct :)

Go to your inventory, select the game, there is an option to either give it directly on steam or by email. At the email field, paste the mail address of the winner, send it, and you are done :)

Whoever Crdy123 is, well you say you accepted the gift, have it in your games list, but I still have it in my inventory. Did something mess up?

What game is it? If it is The Ship, you are supposed to have a copy extra left. If it isn't, odds are the winner got the game through other means. Happens pretty often actually.

Yeah, it's the ship, but the copy I still have is the one I sent to him.

Did you send it through your steam interface? I meseed up with this as well(As it was my first time doing a giveaway.)...you have to go into steam and send the game being gifted to them via their email.(Which you can find by going into your steamgifts control panel and clicking send gift next to the winner's/contest's name.)

I sent it via email. Copy and pasted the email address and when I look at the gift it says it was sent (listing the email that I sent it to), it just hasn't disappeared after being accepted like they have in the past.
Someone know who Dwarden is here on gog? I won the Arma II giveaway, and I'm not in an hurry, but i didn't reeive anything on my email and cannot add him to the friends list on steam because he has maxed out the friends list. I only want to know if he sent it because he may have sent it to a wrong email.

Cheers
