A new warning to all , do NOT enter any giveaway that says dirt, people are trying to giveaway dirt 3 by faking it as a dirt 1 giveaway avoid the series for a while.

The number of entries per contest now is absolutely insane. I thought 300 was bad just a week ago. Now contests are reaching 2,000 entries.

No kidding, a Skyrim giveaway I entered has over 4500 entries (not really interested in it, but I have to spend all these points somehow)

Arteveld: It took AGES to get to a 100 points, and now i can't seem to get rid off the 300 i have. I join a few giveaways, go to sleep, wake up, win nothing of course, and have 300 again.
What I actually do is enter contests that are >1 week from ending. That way, I can "store" my points until I need to use them. :)

Smart way. i only enter those that i'm actually interested with [games that are only distributed digitally, to be exact], so i'm spending a sh*tload of 6points on HIB3 and such.;D

Is there any point to steam gifts now, since I joined it has doubled in size but only 20% more prizes.

With usually more than 1000 entries the chances are so small.

Create some raffles then :P
Many users are in private groups and participate in private giveaways only. More chances for winning something, better games and people feel more generous since they know they are giving to people they know.
