Yep, the scammer was removed from Steam but I think I will maybe do one more giveaway then hold off for a while.

ya thinking of giving up......any giveaway at least gets a 1000 entries so.........

I thought about quitting too but then i remembered that i wasn't spending a single dime. All i have to do is wait, make an entry and hope for the best. If those winners from thousands of entry made it then have a chance too. You can also look for groups and join private giveaways. I have 2 so i will just keep going it. I am not loosing anything other then 1-3 minutes checking whats up in the front page :)

Still have hope. Small chance is better than no chance at all.

In the end, only the site will win. More people will come, giveaways will become impossible to win... but the ads will generate even more money for the site owners.

Really well thought of, from a business point of view, especially with the number of points you receive that make you come back to it. But from a customer point of view, it will start to suck soon.

Well, it sucks even now. Only private giveaways worth anything since everyone and their mother enters the non private ones.

Well, since the "customer" does not need to do anything at all, save for a few minutes spent browsing the site, to be entitled to a chance for free games, i don't see any reason to complain.

Of course more people will come... really guys, what were you expecting?!
A place were some Santa Clause throw away games after games eveyday, and only 10 random people to receive all the goods?

I had the same. I was giving away PoP and the next second as winner uppers guy pinged me in steam. I was a little bit confused. But I've preferred to send it not to account but to e-mail of the winner. And that was correct. No mistake was done...
Scammers must due.

The only thing I see is that would need to change is dropping the points that you get for everyone else's giveaways, and simply awarding points for ones you create and a percentage of points for giveaways created by people you invite.

private giveaway's or not, the only people i would trust on that site are of course the gog users, after reading some of the comments...well read the comments before entering the giveaway
