amok: Hm, but I do think you can delete the coupons when they are no longer valid. I deleted a couple of invalid coupons this week. So it is just a matter of waiting.

Sidenote - I just sold all my summer cards, and it brought in just enough to get me the Giana Sisters game on -80%. So in a way, Valve gave me a free game this summer :)
That must have been it. My coupons were probably old.

Congrats on scoring a free game. :D

Momo1991: Did anyone else get THREE copies of the same 10% off Toki Tori 2 coupons? Wtf??
avatar
Asbeau: I did, and I'm annoyed that there's no option to delete them. Nobody's going to want them so now I'm going to have to go to the trouble of dumping them in a junk alt account or look at them in my inventory until Friday 11th July 2014.
lol... they are seriously valid for one year? Ridiculous...

If you do go to the trouble of creating a junk alt account, you could consider making a thread about it. You'd certainly earn the gratitude of quite a few GOGers :-D (got 3 of the coupons myself...)
I am glad I do not have these annoying coupons. I tried a demo for the first game and hated it. I have zero interest in any follow up editions as such.

Hey, can you "gift" these to friends? lol

I think you can, but I think they have to accept it or otherwise they just bounce back to your inventory. Back when everyone had dozens of DOTA2, a friend had given me two which I then sent forward in the Steam forums for free. I can't remember if he sent any more copies after that or if I just ignored them entirely.

That makes sense. It should not be possible to spam people with unwanted stuff. The idea of sending one as a joke (which could easily be refused) did strike me funny though.

Yeah, but sadly you have to give them manually and unlike gifts there's no 'send to' function, probably to stop us coupon-bombing each other :D

EDIT: ninja'd. I think I need another coffee before I post any more

Organize a coupon giveaway :D...
Of course, this coupon is set to be valid for an entire year. A year of 10% off taunting you.

You have like 60-70% discount by default, based on location :p
Well, the Steam Sale cost me $36 of my hard earned Card Moneys (tm) :D

And I still don't want it. Things I want, e.g. Max Payne 1 come with stupid restrictions, like forcing me to play it in Russian.

That sucks man. Normally imho all languages should be available everywhere. But publishers make their own rules. That's why we have to stand up and vote with our wallets to skip titles which have stupid restrictions.

I didn't get the hang of Card Money... you had to play games right to earn cards... i didn't have time/mood to play from the games which i had and were included so I've missed out on them completely. :(

Saw this interesting graphic posted elsewhere on the net which summarizes various stats/info about the Steam sale.

I bought nothing this time.

I did finish out the Origin Jumpworks 300 series @ Star Citizen though.
Ys series is the midweek special (66% off) for those who missed the flash sale early on.
