Here is my final tally. Wasn't really looking for anything special, got way too many unplayed games already. Quite pleased with the haul, didn't spend too much, infact most, if not all the games were for at least 75% off. Pretty much all of them were in my wishlist already as well.

Storm in a Teacup
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Super House of Dead Ninjas
The Cave
System Shock 2
Fallout 3 - Game of the Year
X3: Terran Conflict (gifted)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Augmented Edition
Torchlight II
XCOM Enemy Unknown (& both DLC)
Euro Truck Simulator
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Borderlands 2: Gunzerker Domination Pack
-----

Totaling to 30€ (or 40$) which is not bad at all. Actually probably the lowest amount I ever spend on Steam sales. The BL2 DLC (0.30€) was only bought so that I'd go over the next trading card threshold. Also only one proper indie game (Storm in a Teacup), which I am happy about. I really like indie games, but got way too many of those as well.
Final flash sales:
Crysis Franchise -70%
Retro City Rampage (Cards) -80%
Total War Franchise (Cards) -75%
Endless Space (Cards) -66$

Community Choice:
Rage -75%
Oh well, seems I'll have to order the physical X-Superbox from play.com. It's not even discounted and still cheaper than steam :(

Hawk52: Any list of "hidden gems" in the Steam sale? I know many games are really cheap like McPixel, but I haven't seen a comprehensive list.

yinan: http://steamdb.info/sales/
Thanks for the link i managed

to buy 3 games for £3 .
avatar
fracturedsanity: Off that list EYE probably is least likely to show up in a bundle.
avatar
Drakhyrr: It's been out for quite a while and still hasn't shown up on any. Are there any other reasons for supposing that, though?
Nothing past what you mentioned.
It just seems to me if they were going to bundle it they would have done so by now.
Though I wouldn't put an IndieGameStand appearance if it hasn't already had one.
I spent more money on GOG sale this year than on steam :)
How much is Rage in the mystic realms where it's not blocked?

4,99€ here.

blotunga: Well, very disappointing sales altogether. I might pick up Kotor 1&2, I have played them a few years ago, pirated back then :( (yes, I was a dirty pirate and only GOG and bundles are to blame for my conversion :P). But I'm not sure they'll work on windows 7.
They do work on Windows 7.

Make sure to get the Sith Lord Restored Content Mod for Kotor II.
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men = $2.37

My final purchase before the end of the summer sale. It never went on flash sale.

Cool! Thanks, I'll do that... I want to replay them anyway, especially the second one with the restored content.

DaCostaBR: If you are wondering whether or not it's worth it, the game has a really long demo available:http://www.indiedb.com/members/cellardoorgames/downloads/rogue-legacy-demo-v102

Also, if you decide to buy it, do consider getting it at the devs' website: http://www.roguelegacy.com/. It's at the same price as Steam and they'll give both a DRM-free version and a Steam key.
Thanks for that. I'm not sure if I'll be getting it any time soon, picked up a few cheap games in the sale which will keep me occupied for a while and I'm completely engrossed in Baldur's Gate 2 right now anyway, but when I do I'll make sure to use the dev site.
Damn, was hoping Expeditions: Conquistador would be 75% off for a flash deal at some point. Guess 50% off is fine though.

Anyway, all I've bought so far is a bunch of indie games and Crusader Kings II with all DLC. Also got Secret of the Magic Crystals for a laugh.
Deus Ex Human Revolution for 3 bucks was a pretty damn good deal. Aside from that, it was a pretty good sale, although not so good as expected.

My list:

Deus Ex HR
Bioshock 1 and 2
The Cave
Dungeon's Defenders
PES 2013
Jericho

And... I think that all. Around 25 bucks I believe. Not so terrible :P

Spinorial: Well shit. Tomb Raider sale is back, but the old ones are only 75% off. I was hoping to get ~3 of them, but Simon says 1. I've named my Steam wallet Simon. So, I'm hoping for a bit of advice.

My impression was that good ones to have are Last Revelation, Anniversary, and Underworld. Not sure what to make of Legend. Less/smoother gunplay is better, as is more exploration and sandboxy play. I tried the Anniversary demo, liked it quite a bit, actually, but I still want the second opinion, having made similarly undereducated choices in the past.

So, what say ye?
I think that the whole collection for 17 bucks is a damn FINE deal!! I bought the same collection but without the last one for 15 during the last summer sale and don't regret. Each one is good in his own way (well maybe AoD is the only real exception). If you don't have any of them you should get it!!

BTW: Legend is really good IMHO. And TR1 till TR6 (aod) can be played without the steam client opened, so they qualify as DRM Free

Anyone have any good recommendations for the last hour or so?
The deals were so weak this time 'round I didn't buy much.
