Drakhyrr: Now on the fence about Sine Mora, Hard Reset and EYE: Divine Cybermancy.

They're cheap and on my list, but being indies, they may show up on bundles sooner or later for much less than that. And considering my backlog, each cent may count.
Hard Reset was on Indie Royale, but the rest of that bundle didn't interest me. Well, maybe there's time to replay all of their demos.
Off that list EYE probably is least likely to show up in a bundle.

Gazoinks: Ooh, good prices on the X games. Would it be best to get X2 or one of the three varieties of X3?
avatar
StonerMk2: X3 would be my personal suggestion, but if you do, plan to invest A LOT of time into it. Game is definitely not for casual play, takes a while to get the controls down, and get things rolling in game.
Very much this. Just to add, I think every new X game so far has built on and improved on the last. So I'd definitely recommend getting X3: Terran Conflict.

And as someone mentioned before X games don't have the best space combat ever but the trade and general economy stuff is what makes the game great for me,

misfire200: It only has been out for about a month, so I could have told you that=) Cyanide/Focus will not discount it anytime soon, and definitely not while the TdF is still ongoing. Most likely the first discount of the game will be at the completion of the cycling season in October.

Furthermore, to be honest I only by the initial releases to support the company. PCM 2013 will not even be fully playable until after the last patch. It has always been like that for every incarnation of the game. I own every version except 2007 (Including the pre-Pro versions). 2013 is currently good for goofing off with but it has some issues. Best off to continue playing 2012 until they iron out whatever bugs they decide before moving onto the next version.

Zangtesu: Well I think last year I got the 2012 for 33% or 50% in the summer sale. Was hoping that it get around that range too this year. Oh well I have a huge backlog already :)
And yes you are right the game always comes with huge bugs.
Yeah, if you have 2012. I would continue with that until after their final patch. Pro Cycling Manager is always a game that you really cannot play a career until the final patch. Plus if you are like me, you will want to use the PCM Daily expansion for it which usually does not have a great version until a couple weeks after the final patch. Then you are set. Heck, sometimes I still go back and play earlier versions because they have certain DB's I want to use.

Ended up going for the Walking Dead since everyone keeps raving about it, but I'll continue to keep an eye on X. It seems like the Superbox goes on sale fairly frequently anyway.

It's been out for quite a while and still hasn't shown up on any. Are there any other reasons for supposing that, though?
So its the Encore day. The usual suspects are on it Really boring. Why are people buying the kerbal game?????

Because it's been featured on the front page with big discounts at least three times so far, which is why these encores are rigged.
Rogue Legacy hasn't been on deep discount at all either has it? just the 20% off. Looks like a fun little game.

Before the sale ends, I must urge people once again to consider Time Gentlemen, Please!/Ben There Dan That! It's 29 pence and if you have even a fleeting interest in the genre it's worth a go.

Kerbal is like the only game on the front page that hasn't been milked to death by now not only in this summer sale, but in general. Why would you have a problem with it?

Cool, glad you're enjoying it - I need to play it again soon too.

True but to be fair some of the games going on sale are in alpha/prerelease stages, not sure if release date can be considered to be much of a factor in these sales.
Darn. Missed Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics for >$3 total. Oh well, I'd rather have them DRM free on GOG.

If you are wondering whether or not it's worth it, the game has a really long demo available:http://www.indiedb.com/members/cellardoorgames/downloads/rogue-legacy-demo-v102

Also, if you decide to buy it, do consider getting it at the devs' website: http://www.roguelegacy.com/. It's at the same price as Steam and they'll give both a DRM-free version and a Steam key.
