Are the steam versions of Fallout 1,2 on par with the GOG versions?
I only bought (all for 75% off):

- Frozen Synapse: Red DLC
- They Bleed Pixels
- Worms Armageddon

Even though XCOM:EU was also 75% off, I still hope to see this game on GOG someday (with all DLC), so I'll wait patiently. It's not like I don't have a huge backlog anyway >_>
So heres my haul for this summer sale:

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe

Assassin's Creed II: Deluxe Edition

Assassin's Creed Revelations

Under the Ocean

FTL: Faster Than Light

Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon

Zombie Driver HD

Bastion

Battlestations: Midway

Mark of the Ninja

Alan Wake Bundle (Summer 2012)

Hitman Absolution Suit and Gun Collection

Hitman Absolution Professional

Doom 3: BFG Edition

Hotline Miami

Borderlands 2: Assassin Madness Pack

Borderlands 2: Mechromancer Supremacy Pack

Borderlands 2: Commando Madness Pack

Tomb Raider: Underworld

Wanderlust: Rebirth

Wasnt planning on spending too much, but well...ya'll know how that goes. Oh and this was with 70 bucks. Not bad at all imo.

innerring: Are the steam versions of Fallout 1,2 on par with the GOG versions?
I heard somewhere that they actually have some files from the GOG installer in them, as in the publisher recycled the release they had here. But I'm going by hearsay, so take it with a grain of salt.
I got (without paying a penny):

Children of the Nile: Alexandria
Chains of Satinav
Crusader Kings 2: Norse Portraits
Railroad Tycoon 2 Platinum
Civ 3 complete
and some tank game.
So far all I've bought is Skyrim, and I was gifted Fallout 3 GOTY. I might still pick up Torchlight 2 and maybe CS:GO if I feel like it later. It feels good to not add 10-20 games to my already huge backlog for once.

Yeah that's what I loved about this sale, getting a load of games for free.

Stellar game choice there, buddy.

dudetterinazor: The Fallout Collection is 85% off.

Too bad it's Windows only though. :(

Didn't it tank?

No, but your jokes did. So it counts.
Now on the fence about Sine Mora, Hard Reset and EYE: Divine Cybermancy.

They're cheap and on my list, but being indies, they may show up on bundles sooner or later for much less than that. And considering my backlog, each cent may count.
Hard Reset was on Indie Royale, but the rest of that bundle didn't interest me. Well, maybe there's time to replay all of their demos.

Zangtesu: And my hopes for Pro Cycling Manager 2013 to go on sale are fading out :(
avatar
misfire200: It only has been out for about a month, so I could have told you that=) Cyanide/Focus will not discount it anytime soon, and definitely not while the TdF is still ongoing. Most likely the first discount of the game will be at the completion of the cycling season in October.

Furthermore, to be honest I only by the initial releases to support the company. PCM 2013 will not even be fully playable until after the last patch. It has always been like that for every incarnation of the game. I own every version except 2007 (Including the pre-Pro versions). 2013 is currently good for goofing off with but it has some issues. Best off to continue playing 2012 until they iron out whatever bugs they decide before moving onto the next version.
Well I think last year I got the 2012 for 33% or 50% in the summer sale. Was hoping that it get around that range too this year. Oh well I have a huge backlog already :)
And yes you are right the game always comes with huge bugs.

ChrisSD: I've been selling cards and buying games with the money I make but I've now got £3.26 left over. Any ideas what to spend it on?

real.geizterfahr: I don't know prices in pounds, but good non-indie and non-gog games in this price range would be:
- X2: The Threat
Ooh, good prices on the X games. Would it be best to get X2 or one of the three varieties of X3?

X3 would be my personal suggestion, but if you do, plan to invest A LOT of time into it. Game is definitely not for casual play, takes a while to get the controls down, and get things rolling in game.
