Zangtesu: And my hopes for Pro Cycling Manager 2013 to go on sale are fading out :(
It only has been out for about a month, so I could have told you that=) Cyanide/Focus will not discount it anytime soon, and definitely not while the TdF is still ongoing. Most likely the first discount of the game will be at the completion of the cycling season in October.

Furthermore, to be honest I only by the initial releases to support the company. PCM 2013 will not even be fully playable until after the last patch. It has always been like that for every incarnation of the game. I own every version except 2007 (Including the pre-Pro versions). 2013 is currently good for goofing off with but it has some issues. Best off to continue playing 2012 until they iron out whatever bugs they decide before moving onto the next version.

Has there ever been a general final release date mentioned for Kerbal and/or it's estimated launch price?

Nope, although the price will not be any cheaper. The retail price at release will either stay the same but i believe it will go up some. Unlike Prison Architect or Planetary Annihilation they are not starting off at an elitist price and working their way down as it gets closer to release. But the are currently on .20v2 or whatever it is so it has a long way to go.
Visual representation of the Steam Summer Sale 2013:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3l_ggpGyEOQ

They had all the time in the world to prepare and do something about that ugly store front they use for sales, thousands of fanboys hyped about Gaben the Messiah's great wallet-emptying upcoming sale, and yet they fucking failed hard, holy shit 50% and 60%'s everywhere, I don't think I even saw an 80 or 90% discount the whole sale.

Epic fail Steam, epic fail, you had one job

Profanity: My hopes for Conquistador haveth been crushed.
Don't worry
The most likely repeat flash deals have chance
And theres always chance the idiotic community will vote it instead of cards if given choice
Bought Quake 1 and 2 from Steam in hopes of having the in game soundtrack.
I guess I am spoiled by GoG, because I set my expectations too high for Steam.
No music!? Really? Fucking terrible. Had to download the iso image with the music from one of the steam threads.
Also, I have to sign in every time I play these old games? I can appear offline, and that doesn't mean I am offline.

This is the last time I buy from Steam. It's either GoG or Piratebay from now.
Nice price...

It may be nothing new, but I think it bears repeating for the adventure game fans:

Ben There, Dan That, and Time Gentlemen, Please! for $ 0.50.

One of the best deals this sale in my opinion, at least, if you like that sort of thing.

On an unrelated note, I wonder why Dead Money was singled out for a 40% off discount, while all the other Fallout NV DLC is 75% . Seems odd.

Also a bit disappointed Dark Messiah of Might and Magic hasn't had more than a 35% discount this time around.

Da fuck is a py6
Final Tally probably,

Civ V Gold DLC upgrade
Omerta City of Gangsters + DLC
McPixel
Risen 2 Gold
Worms Revolution x2
Sang-Froid - Tales of Werewolves
Shogun 2 Otomo Clan Pack, Saints and Heroes DLC
System Shock 2
Strike Suit Infinity
Tomb Raider Collection
Tropico 4: Vigilante DLC

Not bad considering my wishlists are pretty small these days. Glad Omerta still decided to show up the last day ^^
Would've liked a decent sale on Settlers 7 Gold or Brothers in Arms pack or Game of Thrones pack but sadly no luck there :)

Edit: Ow, might still pick up Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space.

I noticed plenty of 80% (or higher) discounts during the sale. Serious Sam, Iron warrior, Tomb Raider are just a few of them. Discounts seem to have been able to creep ever higher than on previous sales, because I don't remember seeing that many games being more than 75% off during the last major sale (or the one before that, or the one before that one).

I see
What an ugly sale it was.
I bought something, spending 9€ of "real money", but there were always the same games discounted.
I mean, the Steam catalogue is HUGE, and they discounted Sleeping Dog something like 6 times.
I want Dragon's Lair, but the price is too high for now, so I'll wait for the X-Mas Sales.
I'm rather happy with my haul. It did not break the bank, yet gave me plenty of games. I picked up:
Scribblenauts Unlimited (75% off)
Xcom DLC (75% off)
Tomb Raider Underworld, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 (91% off)
Race: The WTCC game (50% off)
Shattered union (75% off)
Dawn of War 2 Chaos rising (75% off)
Sleeping Dogs. Year of the Snake (75% off)
Higborn (75% off)
Fallen enchantress (75% off)
The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav (75% off)
Risen 2 (75% off)
