ChrisSD: I have Civ 5 with Gods and Kings, is it worth upgrading to the Gold Edition to get all the other DLC?
I don't think Gold includes Brave New World, which is the other worthwhile DLC. So, I guess the answer is no?

Ah, I'll wait for the winter sale then. Perhaps by then the platinum edition will include Brave New World.

PSA: all the other Assassin's Creed games are 75% off today due to the daily on AC3

I just got AC revelations gold, which is a good deal for Australians for once :)

PSA #2: the dailies today seem to only last for 24 hours instead of the usual 48 (if you look at the countdown timer on the steam site)

I thought about AC3 but I've read enough that it doesn't run on my machine (or mostly anybody else's also). and I still have those Brotherhood and Revelations uncompleted. So.. Not a big deal.
They will get repetitive eventually anyway. =D

Looking through my wishlist there are a few games I'm disappointed at the price.

I'd be willing to try Space Marine but that one is only 50% off so I can't justify it.

I thought about trying Transformers for a while but, while the discount is fine, the base price is outrageous for a two year old game. That complaint is more towards Activision than towards the sale.

It's just frustrating that the people involved insist on these prices and I just can't understand why.

Im not big on card trading (except selling the extras), but in last few days i received the same FM2013 card 5 times.. wtf...anyone else had that happen to them?

Activision has a notorious reputation for artificially keeping prices high.. just look at the COD games. Which is why those who want Activistion games are happy for ANY discount :P
