I've only bought Far Cry 3 from this sale. That's likely going to be all.
It's been quite a ride with a lot of good acquisitions cheap, cheap! A highlight for me so far was the Novalogic Everything Pack with a bunch of good old games for under 20.

I think I might be done once I pickup Euro Truck Simulator 2 before its steep discount ends tomorrow. I tried the demo and had a lot of fun with it. When I was a kid I rode shotgun from the east coast to the west coast of the US in a big rig. It'll be fun getting to drive this time and seeing some sights in Europe! And I can play my own tunes on the radio while I am driving. Best of all, the developer says they've already got the engine ported to OS X so a Mac version is on the way and it'll be Steamplay later on. :D
Bought Honest Hearts & Lonesome Road for FNV. I could get Dead Money, but I'd actually have to use real money instead of card sale profits, so I'm gonna pass for now. It sounds the least interesting to me anyway.

I'm still holding out hope for something OMGWTFBBQ for five dollars or less in these last few days.
So you can't buy games if you are not in the country where your bank card was issued? I'm trying to make my very first purchase off Steam and I got denied... checking the support pages, they say you have to contact support if your location, your bank card and the steam store front don't match up?

That's... kinda crazy. =( For my primary credit card, the billing address and the country of issue don't match each other and I'm not in either of those countries. Am I effectively doomed from partaking in the fun?
I've managed to hold back on this one, I've got quite enough of a backlog as it is; though I did pick up 'The Basement Collection'. That Edmund McMillen's quite the card.

Mostly hoping the few indie offerings I'm innarested in at the moment come to GOG at some point. They're all pretty low down in the wishlist, but it's still possible...

...Though I am tempted by Fallout New Vegas, despite not having finished it on the 360 and failing multiple times to mod Fallout 3 correctly...

If you like Edmund McMillen's work, you might want to hurry and get Super Meat Boy for 75% off.

hkabik: And I'm still back and forth on buying xcom... I'm having a hard time justifying it considering my current backlog...
I'm pretty much in the same boat. My "must have" list is down to XCOM and Of Orcs And Men. But I have bought so much that I can't justify to spend more than another 20 Euro. The problem: Of Orcs And Men is more important to me. It was 66% off two months ago, so I'm waiting for a better deal than the actual 50% one (20 Euro). But if I buy XCOM for 10 Euro now and Of Orcs And Men doesn't get a daily, I'll have to go beyond my limit (I'll buy Of Orcs And Men in any case). And that's something I can't really justify, looking on my shopping list:

- Alpha Protocol
- Assassin's Creed
- Assassin's Creed II
- GRID
- Hitman: Absolution
- The Last Remnant
- Portal 2
- Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II
- Tomb Raider
- Torchlight II

If Of Orcs And Men isn't in the next flash sale, I'll have to skip XCOM. Well... As the Starks would say: Winter is coming. Uhm, I mean the holiday sale xP
Is there really no DRM-free version of Super Meat Boy anymore? I know it was sold at the Humble Store at some point, but I can't find it now. If that's the case then I might bite at the current sale price at Steam.

It doesn't seem to be available anywhere other than steam, not even from Humble: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/supermeatboy (page not found).

This list is also useful for seeing what games are in the Humble store.

Aha! And this is where my plan comes to full fruition! I don't really like platformers all that much.

Sure, I'd probably buy it if it was here, there's still a chance!
Well shit. Tomb Raider sale is back, but the old ones are only 75% off. I was hoping to get ~3 of them, but Simon says 1. I've named my Steam wallet Simon. So, I'm hoping for a bit of advice.

My impression was that good ones to have are Last Revelation, Anniversary, and Underworld. Not sure what to make of Legend. Less/smoother gunplay is better, as is more exploration and sandboxy play. I tried the Anniversary demo, liked it quite a bit, actually, but I still want the second opinion, having made similarly undereducated choices in the past.

So, what say ye?

XCOM is amazing, just saying. I would not pass up playing it at that price.

It should show up sometime on Indie Royale or similar.

timppu: Darksiders 2 discouraged me with its oodles of DLCs
The 3 dollar season pass includes all of them (or maybe it's the complete edition that's 3 dollars more). Darksiders 2 has been bargain basement for all that since November, it's not going any lower for awhile I think.

hkabik: I also intended to not buy "much"

Spinorial: By now I'm severely miffed at missing out on the Tomb Raider promo. Still, faintly hoping for a repeat :(
On flash deal for the next two hours.

I'm willing to buy XCOM, as well, but I have a question: when the game eventually is released in a GOTY version with all DLCs included, will my game update automatically to the GOTY edition or do I have to buy this special edition separatedly? I believe it might update automatically if the base game goes away from the store, and this seems to be the rule in these cases.

I know there's a new "huge" DLC coming, but the current two don't seem to be worth getting. Anyone has any experience on this matter with games that eventually went GOTY, like Borderlands, Batman: AA/AC and so on?

SMB never had any kind of DRM, actually. Neither does The Basement Collection and The Binding of Isaac (other Edmund McMillen games). You can buy them on Steam, download them and copy their folders anywhere you like and they'll run just fine without the Steam client.

So... the resident orc is really telling me to prefer XCOM over Of Orcs And Men?

Two hours left for doing something stupid... again! I can clearly see me buying them both *sigh*

Thanks, I had noticed ;) Any advice would be even more appreciated :-)
