Drakhyrr: Now THAT'S going to take a while for me to do... Huge backlog and all. Still, I don't see it getting any cheaper than that in a long time. And then it's so cheap already it won't really matter.
Heheh! well, it didnt take long to d/l so i fired it up and it has a lot going for it so far - so dont let yer backlog keep you from it if yer in the mood for some rpg!

spoderman: Ys titles usually get one flash sale and that's it for the entire sale. No dailies. That's how it worked for the summer and winter sales last year, anyway.
Well that sucks. I guess I got lucky during the winter sale when I got Origins and Oath in Felghana, and even luckier this time around since it was the flash sale that happens from 5am-1pm my time. Still, I hope the games go on sale again before the summer sale ends for those that were in an unfavorable timezone during the flash.

mrcrispy83: Well, Oath was featured as a 75% off daily special and in one of the daily indie bundles in last summer sales.

I don't think Origin's been below 66% off, and Chronicles has just been released a few months ago.
It was in an indie bundle on Steam during the last summer sale, yeah, but I don't think the game was an individual daily deal during that sale.

I didn't like any of the indie bundles they had last year, they included too many games I already had, making the bundle price not worth it, and no extra copies for buying them :(

Ys Origin was 75% off during a flash sale in the winter sale last year.

I never do! But I'm already playing the Witcher 2.

And then I didn't finish all the games I've bought from the 2010 winter sales yet!

AH! well then! the witcher it must be!
Have about 20 euros left for summer sale. The Age of Empires II HD , yay/nay?

I would say no, but mostly because I always thought of it as a rather mediocre game. Most people just loved the multiplayer for it, so that's the only value I'd see in it. If it's an RTS you want I think there are many better out there, though perhaps not at the same sale price of AoE2.

Nay, it'll be a daily.

I love the Ys titles, but they were a flash sale on the first/second day, so they'll probably be a daily soon enough. The Zeboyd games (Cthulhu Saves the World/Breath of Death VII and Penny Arcade Episode 3+4) are another good batch if you like retro-looking jrpgs. Again, they'll probably be a daily soon enough, though.
That flash sale also counted all Ys for 66%. Was 14.25€ for the 3 games.

Yep! I already had the other titles from previous Steam sales, but I was surprised to see that 1+2 Chronicles was discounted as well, so I grabbed that up. Here's hoping Nihon Falcom will be able to bring more Ys and other localized Japanese titles to Steam in the future.

It was, back on the third day.

I was quite fond of it when I was little, I would buy it mainly for nostalgia

Also, let us not forget that the price a game is as a Flash Sale or Community Choice is what it would be as a Daily Deal.

I am afraid this is last chance to get it in this sale for this price

Detlik: snip
I would say to wait till the last day, you never know if they will do an "encore" of all deals.
