grviper: The more memes are generated about Steam sales the worse the sales are. Not sure if a coincidence...

Is X-com worth $5? Is the DLC worth anything?
$5??, in my steam page listed as a $9.99 (75% from $40)

Valve is intimidated by Russia, they give them lower prices for "protection".
Oh man, I was about to pull the trigger on Binding of Isaac earlier today and created a Steam account just for that purpose alone. Happy to see it's on sale right now ! :)

LOL, Today Russia give a lot of "protection" then, as does as "someone" in their airport get too..

$5 for Russia with the limitation, than I can't play it outside, and the bastards also made it non-giftable.

So only CIS region, that's too bad... Region limitation with cheaper price always a bad thing for community..
Well as I suspected the issue I was having was due to Steam's internal servers not taking money from me for my previous purchases. Everything cleared last night and today I was able to get Van Helsing (with some help from a friend) with zero issues.

It's to be expected, honestly. Their payment server's been getting slammed for a week straight, and only now is it catching up.

I'm pretty sure this is just a Russian thing, because the cheaper Russian Steam games were quite an attraction. People used that.

Expedition Conquistador 75% off lost to Risen 2. Huge bummer.

Even if there was no Risen, it would have lost to Crusader Kings 2 too - a game that already has been on sale.
I can recommend Van Helsing at 50% off for sure.

Make that 2 recommendations. An hour and a half in, and I've already gotten more enjoyment out of it than the whole time I played Diablo 3.

Oh, right. It's just that I'm thinking of buying the first game so it would be nice to know if you had a reason to hate it.
