keeveek: 80 euros to unlock 4 heroes in a F2P game? :D Does anyone have any doubts Disney knows shit about video games?
Which one is that?
Marvel Heroes had some expensive heroes and yet there are tons of those running around, so as silly as it may seem to us perhaps it actually does work.

I guess it works on a way "Even if we manage to get only 100 crazies who would pay 80 euros for an unlock, we're still 8000 bucks richer"

Like 90% of the steam forum topics about Marvel Heroes is about how overpriced shit in this game is. But it's probably vocal minority... Although I can't really imagine hordes of people paying 80 euros for something like that.
I thought the Marvel Heroes DLC was a typo or something gone terribly wrong. I had to Google it to make sure it was a real thing. Seeing some people defend its price on the internet is shocking.

dyscode: I just have to ask: is there ANY advantage to System Shock on Steam?
I think not. (PS: Ipaid $10 on GOG when it came out and don't regret it.)
Trading cards! ;)

With the holy "You don't have to buy/play it if you don't like it." argument?
All Warframe DLCs are now 75% off aswell. So now's a better time than ever to buy something Warframe and support that amazing game.

Hawk52: I'm sure someone already did this, but I'll throw out a recommendation.

If you like strategy games, and fantasy 4x in particular; check out Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes. It's a stand alone expansion that improves on many issues from Fallen Enchantress. I personally loved FE, and while I had issues with how they went about the expansion, it's still a fantastic game and well worth the price they're selling it at. As with most Stardock games, they're constantly working on it with help from the community and retooling gameplay aspects for better play experiences. I think it's unfair to say it's the "new Master of Magic", but it definitely is a quality strategy game that for whatever reason (perhaps due the original debacle) doesn't get nearly enough attention from gamers.
I was thinking about getting it until I learned about the price increase here in europe on the 4th of July. 30€ -> 37€ just before the steam sale...
so now I'm skipping it alltogether. :)

I don't get it either man, but than again there was that silly space MMO where someone on this forum paid like $2000 or something to get three ships so there are people that are either insane or very committed.

Generally, yeah. There were also ones along the lines of "I get to play as my favorite hero and that's real neato." Some people argued that you can get the heroes in loot drops but from what I've read the drops are so rare and infrequent until you max your level out there's no point in hoping for drops.

But jeez, for the price of one of those DLCs you could probably buy almost every daily deal and flash sale going on right now.

Eve Online? There's a lot of real money value running in there. At least for a video game.
What do you think about Mark of the Ninja? Is it worth for 3,74€?

I'd say it's worth it. You can however get it a bit cheaper on Amazon (with a US address) with 3 extra games thrown in. 3.19$ when you use the -15% code.

eit: Or yesterday may have been the last day for that offer, dunno.
